My 8YO daughter started showing an interest in shooting with me, so I picked up a Ruger LCPII chambered in .22LR. She loves it, but wished it wasn’t just black. I told her we could have it cerakoted whatever color(s) she wanted if she was serious about wanting to shoot with me.About that time I noticed Brown Bear Arms Custom Coating in a Facebook group. I started up a chat and almost immediately Tim responded. We went back and forth as he provided sample information, options, ideas, etc. Daughter settled on Rose Gold for the slide and Crushed Orchid for the frame. With some Gun Candy on the slide as well to add some extra shine!Sent the pistol over and received status updates along the way. Tim got it done FAST; had the Gun Candy not been delayed in shipping turn around would have been just over a week!When we got the gun back my daughter was over the top happy! The pistol looks fantastic, top notch job! Reasonably priced, quick turn around, and plenty of communication along the way. Absolutely zero complaints and would highly recommend! You can’t go wrong with Brown Bear doing work for you. I plan to send other work to Brown Bear when the time comes.

Can’t say enough about the quality of work Mr. Brown did for me. I had a former bad experience with another person and then when my veteran friend referred me to him they made me feel more than just another customer and treated my firearm as if it was there’s. He always sent me updated pictures and suggestion along the way of creating whats a masterpiece and what I am proud of.

Leaving your gun with someone for a few weeks is like leaving your baby with someone for a few weeks, and we aren’t even talking about the work yet! The work is phenomenal! Have no fear! You can trust you will get a grade A professional job in a very timely manner. Very impressed at the work I had seen on site. I had marred my gun badly by snapping a drill bit off into the side of it. My baby has been to the hospital and has been fixed. Highly recommend!Tim -

First place I took my rifle to ended up with a rough finish, I took it to Tim so I can get it repainted and it came out so smooth and was perfect, he’s assembled my rifle as well and even laser printed a logo on for me, couldn’t be happier with the final product
