We just picked up a large flooring order from the Howell store and none of the employees offered to help us load it into our trailer. Apparently customer service isn't included with the purchase!

Short staff. Unknowable employees. Put broken returns back on shelves for resale. Thus company really went down hill. Lowes seems to have better staff and do not put damaged returns back on sales floor. Really disappointed with the home Depot.

gotta love buying a propane refill. nobody in the store is notified. you then tell a cashier "hey im out here for a propane refill" ....10 minutes pass and you walk back in. Theyre ringing up customers, still nobody in the store notified. So you walk around looking for anyone to help you. This also happened to me at the one by Freehold mall as I waited outside for 35 minutes requesting help 4 times to the point where I tried to break the lock so I could go home.

We drive from Ingham County to see you and we live minutes away from the Okemos store. You guys are absolutely wonderful. Paul at the pro desk saved my day and was very knowledgeable about technology and getting my rebate. Thank you! Will shop more and more

I purchased a sliding glass patio door from Home Depot. I used Home Depot's installation contractors and they were wonderful. Now almost one month later, I've been trying to communicate with Home Depot to pay my balance but cannot get anyone to help me, give me my balance or return my calls. Imagine that. Instead of Home Depot chasing me for payment, I'm chasing them! I have called Home Depot five times and have been told no one is working that particular day who can help me, I have been transferred to an individual who is actually not even at work that day, been disconnected and promised call backs that never come. I paid a personal visit to Home Depot and again, was told no one was working that could help me and that someone would get back to me. No more. I'm done! I will deal directly with corporate and shop at Lowe's instead!

Hello, I am a Veteran, a two time war Vet. I went into home depot to get an ac unit on Memorial day. I thought you gave a 10% discount to veterans. That would have paid the taxes just about on a three hundred dollar item. Well, I do not have a drivers lis that says that i am a vet. But i do have my truck registration for my military plates that go on my truck that is issued by the state of Mich.and issued by the same state run..Secretary of states office? Well, the lady cash

Went to buy mulch and the employees just sat there while I wandered around clearly confused. Two employees specifically were just standing by propane with no customer... and when Iwebt inside to ask for help, same thing..incredibly rude. Left and went to Walmart instead.

i would give less than 1 star or negative stars if i could. the lack of customer service with the flooring dept is horrible. they ordered wrong flooring and never bothered to tell me. john, the salesman had no desire to help me pick out my flooring or really answer my questions. he had no idea about the products he sells. pathetic. i had to constantly call to check on the status. susan, at the installers desk kept telling me that she was bending over backwards to help me, after their errors. no one wants to take responsibilty for anything. the left hand blames the right hand. jennifer in installations told me to ask for the manager. i did, and spoke to matt who told me to wait for a call from susan. no one returns calls. i called multiple times. the pad and carpet i got were not of good quality. they subcontract out to american carpet south who hires illegal immigrants who speak not a word of english, so it's virtually impossible to communicate with them. there are so many complaints with consumer affairs with home depot's installations. wish i did my homework beforehand on them. i hope the people who work in installations have issues with something they buy, order and need installed and they get told oh well, buyers remorse like i did!!! shame on you home depot!!!!

I never leave negative reviews because I know everyone has their days. However, this has been an ongoing terrible experience for the last two months. We are building a bathroom and ordered all of our supplies and paid extra to have them delivered. However, when they were delivered, the wood was all warped, the corners and edges of the drywall were smashed, and they brought the wrong tub. We called to have someone come and pick up and exchange the materials. The next day, some

After a few months of battling Home Depot, I was able to get a replacement unit. However, they did not have the same model in stock anymore (which matched the other kitchen appliances I bought), so I had to settle for an entirely different brand / style. Not a huge issue for me (although it is for some people). I will note that this whole process was extremely frustrating... many phones calls, emails, service visits, etc.... Once the replacement unit was delivered, I had to again pay for it to be installed (a warranty does not cover labor, which, for two dishwashers, could set you back a few hundred dollars). The first time the installers arrived they did not have the right hose / parts, so they had to reschedule (that's one day of work lost). The second time they came, they also somehow managed to not have all the parts needed (two days of work). The third time was the charm (three days of work!). Nuts, right? So, I have a unit, its warranty is only 6 months since for some really really odd reason, the start date of the warranty for this entirely new / different brand model, begins when the first unit was installed. Fingers crossed.

A larger sized Home Depot with more selections to choose from, very clean and spacious, with a very knowledgeable staff. I live closer to the Freehold Home Depot, but I come to this Howell location when I am looking for more expensive items with a bigger selection. They have more to choose from here then their smaller stores. The staff here is excellent! John A. In the paint department is without a doubt the most knowledgeable paint professional I have ever met in any store! I needed all kinds of paint and pimets for a new home, he knew exactly what to get and exactly what I was looking for. Others helped me with friendly service as I walked throughout the store. It wasn't the busiest time when I came here, but the willingness, attitudes and friendliness of the employees was terrific! Highly recommended for a Home Depot with a large selection and a terrific staff!

I had one of the most disappointing experiences just now at this Home Depot in Howell, MI. First of all I pull into the parking lot and see 2 dogs who had been left in a mini van, with each front window cracked 1 inch, while the owner was in the store. It's currently 70° and sunny. So I shut my car off and sat there with my windows cracked 1 inch, for 15 mins. The temperature increased inside my car dramatically. So for the sake of the dogs I went in a politely asked a woman
