Nice place. The wait sometimes can be long. You can make appointments but if there busy you may still have to wait. The staff is nice but lack in conversation. I think building a relationship with the client is important. They do nice work. I would like a clear price list . I’ve never paid the same price.

I scheduled an appt on line and they confirmed my appointment for 8:00 pm on 8/22/25. When I got there at 7:35 pm they were closed! I had an event I needed them done for and you approved my appointment. This is the worst customer service ever!!! I will not recommend JL Nails at the outlet mall!

After going to almost every salon in Livingston county, I've found this place to be the absolute best. My nails are GORGEOUS, no chips, peeling etc and I clean homes for a living and I do not wear gloves. My nails stay perfect!! Tiffany is wonderful and very conscious of doing her best. Everyone was polite and welcoming💯💯💯

This is always my go to nail salon. They always provide great service and are always very kind. I’ve been coming here for 6+ years. I got my nails done today and I love them! The gentleman did an amazing job. He even recommended chrome (which I’ve never had) and it made my nails look even better than expected! Thank you!

Have been going to J&L nails for over two years. Have always had a good job done on my nails until recently. Last two time my nails have chipped after only a couple of days. This time they are terrible. Nail polish was old and goopy. Bad enough I had to cut my nails so far down they hurt. Sadly I won't be going back. 😪 The sticker lady.

Went yesterday for the first time because I wanted to try a different place to switch it up a bit and I can say I won't be back. My daughters nail broke so she wanted to get it taken off and a new one out on they ripped the nail off along with parts of her actual nail. Made her nails uneven and didn't put enough coats on her nails because you can see through them. I wanted a cut down and the cut my thumb nails allllll the way down to my skin. And when they went to go file my nails they were squeezing my hands where they turned red and then cut my finger right at my nail bed to where it was bleeding. I told the person who did my nails and I did not get a sorry or anything he just laughed and then spoke to the other nail tech in there language. Only put one coat on my nails so you can see through them. Wasn't worth the money I was charged. While walking around the mall I ran into someone who was in there while when I went in. She got a pedicure and they CUT her toes and made them bleed. A person was checking out and the guy that was checking her out didn't know how to count the money. He said it was this amount and she gave him extra for a tip and he didn't know how to count the money or understand what she was trying to to say. I don't think I would want anyone to wait on me if they didn't know how to count back the change or the amount he was givin. We won't be back and won't be recommending this place. I will keep going back to the place I have been going to previous. I normally don't leave bad reviews but I felt like I had to share my experience. I went home and cried about my nails and had to put a bandaid on because my finger was bleeding

Would NOT recommend my best friend and her daughter were there and they ripped the one girls nail off with no warning or anything and overall just horrible service

Wanted my dip removed and redone.
Tech first tried to salvage the existing tips but had to start with over. My final product nails are very sharp in the edges and the color is very light at the tips of the nails - shouldn’t the whole nail be the same color? They look ombré but not in a good way. 🙁
