Been coming here for a few years and have always been happy with the selection of items available. I've had nothing but wonderful experiences with everyone who works here, whether I'm being helped finding an item, picking an order up, or checking out. I recently called the store to ask about a deer repelling product, and Lori (or Laurie?) who took my call went above and beyond letting me know my options. A very well-organized store that is my go-to!

Unfortunately you have to give at least one star to write a review. Lowes deserves zero stars! We ordered a GE suite of appliances & spent over $3000. When the delivery was made, we were told they can't disconnect or install with copper lines. This would have been extremely helpful to know when these were purchased. We would have made sure to have this taken care of ahead of time. Lowes wonders why people get upset & aggressive with their employees. It's called communication, it's a pretty easy concept. You should try it Lowes! All the store manager kept saying when I called was we can leave the appliances or take them back. It's great to sit here & look at non-functioning appliances. Don't purchase your appliances from here! Go to Sargent Appliance, at least they care about their customers!
One week later...Just received a call that our range we purchased is going to be another three days before we receive it. We have been in our new house for almost two weeks with no range to cook on. The nice person on the phone also informed me that our range is a special order. That was also never told to us when we purchased it. Unbelievable Lowes! I will be canceling my Lowes credit card & NEVER going back to Lowes again. There's plenty of other places that I can spend my money at. Thinking Home Depot & Menards from now on. I will make sure to pass this on to family & friends, Lowes is a joke!

If you go to Home Depot and ask them a question, they'll take you to what you're looking for. At Lowe's if you can find someone they'll tell you where it's at but they won't walk you to it. On the plus side, they keep extra shopping carts in the middle of the store in case you need one. Clearance items are kept on a back wall where you never know where they're at, At Home Depot. They're located throughout the store. I prefer Home Depot.

05.26.2025: We ordered a John Deere riding mower online Tuesday. Notified that it had to be ready for pickup on Friday 05.23.2025. It had to be uncrated and some minor assembly done.
We were sent a text message with a link for updates. The link did NOT WORK!!
My husband took a half a day off of work to pick the mower up before the Memorial Day weekend.
There was no notification before the holiday weekend.
We checked in at the store on our way home from a short Memorial Day vacation on Sunday May 25th. The mower STILL had to be assembled.
We are now being told that it will be ready on Memorial Day as a John Deere Representative has to put the rider together.
I'm calling BS on that and that Lowe's dropped the ball on this one.
We'll see if we keep it on order or go elsewhere depending on if Lowe's actually gets it done.
Edit/update 05.27.2025: I called Lowe's this morning and I think that I was finally transferred to the correct person. She was able to verify that yes, John Deere representatives do indeed uncrate and assemble the mowers at the stores.
I told her the above issues (length of time since order, delay in the mower being ready, an assertion from the customer service rep that the mower would indeed be put together ON Memorial Day by a John Deere rep, etc).
I'm sure that she heard the frustration of the entire situation in my voice. She took our contact information and got back with my husband today. She told him that Lowe's got permission from JD to assemble the mower and promised that they would start assembling the mower on Wednesday 05.28.2025.
05.29.2025: still no mower...how long does this take?!
05.30.2025: had to call today. Mower was ready but we received NO phone cal that it was ready. I'm NOT calling the 800# because I'm not going to go through all the options, have to have an order #-which I don't have!, it takes too much time!! Give me a direct# instead!
Just all around a bad experience!! Won't be doing this again!

Having just purchased my condo, Lowe’s became a home away from home. The prices are excellent however, you do need to know what is a deal and what is not.

Very disappointed in the Howell location , after church today my wife and I decided to go the Lowe’s of Howell to purchase our annual outdoor items, grass seed, a few plants,20 bags of mulch, etc. As we were heading out to pay my wife spotted a mini blooming tree with a sign that read”Potted plants and trees in this section 50%off through July 17th. She found one she liked and added it to our many other items. At check out the lady ringing us up stated that it was not 50% off, someone must have put it in the sale area. I then walked over and showed them the sign but still would not honor the price, I asked for the manager, his name was Steve, he said nope not 50% off with no remorse for the customer spending $480.00. Very disappointing experience, we remodeled our home a few years back spending 15k at Lowe’s for supplies and never had any issues at all, sad day at Lowe’s of Howell, Mi, and Steve could use a refresher course in customer service.

Terrible customer service had a digital receipt would not accept it and the product I bought didn't work correctly they wanted to give me a store credit won't use it since the service is difficult.
