I wasn't able to complete my review after my phone call today. I had an issue with a package this weekend. I called this morning, the man I spoke with was very professional and made sure my package was delivered. I Thank You Sir!

They never answer their phones. EVER. We recently moved and had other peoples mail in our mailbox, and instead of taking other peoples mail, we left it in the mailbox box.
They wrote on a junk piece of mail “you can’t just take packages you have to take the mail too, your packages are at the post office you have to come and get them” so we wrote back on the same piece of mail that it wasn’t our mail. Can’t get ahold of anyone on the phone. This is ridiculous.

I have to say that my encounter with postal worker Christina was the most hilarious encounter I've ever had in public with a stranger. I came in to turn in my passport and the photo I had done at UPS wouldn't work, so she took a new one but she was so fast and efficient and made me die laughing. Give this woman a raise

Aside from me constantly getting notified of a package being delivered and its not there.. I’ve been waiting for a very special piece of mail.. it was delayed for over a week. I finally got an update via email it would arrive today. I’m home ALL DAY. I have a video doorbell as well as a dog that will bark at any and every thing.. I get an email saying “sorry we missed you..blah blah blah” I’m like what?! Run downstairs and there’s a notice on my screen door saying that they attempted delivery and nobody answered?! NOT TRUE. There are literally 5 of us currently home and nobody came to the door. You honestly took the time to write out how nobody answered and this was first attempt etc. fill that whole post out thing out, come stick it on my door but couldn’t just do your job and knock or ring the bell so I could just have my mail?! Now I have to wait until Monday to even try and track this down again. IM SO OVER WHOEVER DELIVERS MAIL TO THE MARION OAKS SUBDIVISION. Not acceptable!

Delivery issues.Also, a package coming back after being mailed to daughter in Germany and having it returned to me two weeks later because a quarter inch of a red and white stipe was left on box from previous use, yet was accepted for international delivery by the supposed knowledgeable counter staff here in Howell. Oh, and they refused to refund the nearly $50 postage.

We came to this post office from Canton because they were the quickest one to get into to Expedite passports for my sons with pictures. Ms. Renée, and John are great employees. They were helpful and patient and funny. I left my purse behind and they called me before I got too far away for me to retrieve it. I was so grateful because I had not even noticed that I lost it yet.

This place makes downtown Howell look terrible. For all of our tax dollars, this place needs a complete makeover like the one in Brighton. And the customer service is horrible. I live in Howell north of town and I don't even use this post office anymore. I choose to go out of my way to go to Brighton.
