Delivery issues.Also, a package coming back after being mailed to daughter in Germany and having it returned to me two weeks later because a quarter inch of a red and white stipe was left on box from previous use, yet was accepted for international delivery by the supposed knowledgeable counter staff here in Howell. Oh, and they refused to refund the nearly $50 postage.

We came to this post office from Canton because they were the quickest one to get into to Expedite passports for my sons with pictures. Ms. Renée, and John are great employees. They were helpful and patient and funny. I left my purse behind and they called me before I got too far away for me to retrieve it. I was so grateful because I had not even noticed that I lost it yet.

This place makes downtown Howell look terrible. For all of our tax dollars, this place needs a complete makeover like the one in Brighton. And the customer service is horrible. I live in Howell north of town and I don't even use this post office anymore. I choose to go out of my way to go to Brighton.

This place went above and beyond to help me with a delivery. Not only did Tara help me pick out proper packaging, but she also assisted with assembling it and was so kind and informative. A very welcoming and comfortable experience. Thank you, Tara!

Yesterday, my USPS email had 7 items for delivery. I got 3 pieces of mail, my neighbor got 3 pieces of my mail, and who knows where the 7th envelope is. Tried to call them 3 times today, never answered the phone. This is the fourth or fifth time our mail has been delivered to our neighbors, or we get theirs. Missing package mid October, never found. USPS tracking claim delivered. No effort on their part to locate. My husband was expecting a package mid December and received notice it was delivered to box mid day. Since the first missing package debacle, he immediately checked the box, nothing but called the Howell post office. Whoever answered said they would check with the carrier, who claimed it was delivered. Mysterious delivered the next day. We moved to this address 5 months ago. Right from the beginning, mail forwarding has been a crapshoot. Some have been returned to sender, some forwarded correctly, and some delivered to our old address.

Very bad experience of many (all of the ones I shipped this day) outgoing packages going missing from my mailbox one specific day recently. Every single package I was shipping on this particular day.Home surveillance camera shows the packages being put in the mailbox by us, then no one comes anywhere near my mailbox for the next 3 hours until our carrier picks them up (clearly shown- all of this also on video).Funny thing, not a single one package that day ever shows on USPS tracking as being “picked up” by USPS nor shows any tracking whatsoever to this day some six weeks later. And not a single customer (all within the US, each a different state- all separate unrelated orders) of mine received their package that was shipped that day. ?THEY MAGICALLY HAVE ALL VANISHED INTO THIN AIR. ?♀️Brought a flash drive of the surveillance video and stills from video to the Howell postmaster. They literally did NOTHING about it except acknowledge all of the above and say it was odd and talk to the carrier who “doesn’t recall” anything.I’m out $100s in refunds I had to provide to all of those customers and am now dealing with a few very poor reviews that have hurt my business over this specific incident, from understandably upset customers who never received anything. In fact, to them- I appear like a huge liar that never even shipped their packages because they literally were not USPS checked in with tracking until my carrier (on video!!!!), took them from my mailbox.By the way I’ve been shipping for business for over 14 years from this very same home address and I’m well-versed at sending very well-packaged and sealed items, with computer generated labels, (prepaid postage and tracking) securely affixed to the packages then the addresses covered (but not the bar code covered!) with clear tape to protect from wetness or damage.

Locked me out of my post office box after I paid for a year using their very own electronic pay system. Had my son show them proof of payment. They are too damn lazy to solve the problem. Folks at the front counter are ok but whoever runs the place needs to go work at Macdonalds to learn customer service.

Wouldn't allow me to have a free shipping bag they said I had to purchase one. In the past experiences they have been free. Not sure if anything has changed but it would be nice to know that I can no longer bring prepaid returns without also buying one of their shipping packages?

I think that the howell Post Office does a great job and is the best one in Livingston County. Their friendly fast and have the best hours.

In shorty over two weeks I've had two packages now delivered somewhere that wasn't my residence or mail box. First time is a mistake. Second time someone should be written up and taken off delivery. It's Saturday and now my entire plans are screwed as I needed that package before Monday.

They got two stars only because picked My package up even tho they didn’t have to in order to save me from having to venture out in this snow storm! Other than that...after three days of telling me that even tho my packages stated delivered that they were safe at the hub and that it must have been an accident. Because of the weather the delivery services haulted for two days. Both days I called and was reassured that they were there! Today service went out and guess what!? Nope! They were not there! They had actually delivered them to the wrong address the first initial day it said as I feared! Worst ever! Third time this has happened to me in 5 months of living here. I need a post office I can depend on with my work. I’m beyond upset! One item was a one of a kind made for my daughter! ErrrrrIn addition your manager Krista is rude and she hung up on me during our call after she rudly interuppted me. Completely unprofessional and needs to be addressed accordingly. It's crazy how employees think they can treat customers now a days. Sickning! Post office is why my section 8 voucher was canceled. Because they held on to my mail for 2 weeks not letting it be delivered and not telling me it needed more postage. I'm furious with this post office.

Awful! No one answers the phone I tried calling 3 times and my mails held there. This place needs new management!

Tiny and often busy to packed. I truly feel bad for the workers. This place was filled with some bizzaro people. Sorry to say I would not recommend doing your passport appt here.
