Head pharmacist a woman has some serious unprofessional behavior. Gave me one excuse (insurance) to not fill remainder of a month prescription. I told her I'd pay cash because I didn't want to wait in their line again. So she said she couldn't fill because it's their policy to not refill new refill until 2 more days. I said that's incorrect because it's just the remaining pills of the original prescription. She just looked at me and told me to go use a different pharmacy. I followed her advice. Never want to deal with this rude lazy woman again.

Beware! Please consider another pharmacy if you are looking for expert care and concern. By virtue of their State licenses truly concerned pharmacists go beyond simply filling prescriptions as written. Red flags are typically obvious to true professionals. You will not find care beyond simply filling prescriptions as written here, even when there's and indication a medicine may not have been called in correctly. Don't expect any professionalism or extra care at the Walgreen's on Grand River Ave. in Howell because it's truly non-existent. Due to the potential danger of my experience I'd rate them a 0 if it were possible here. I've informed the State of Michigan licensing division.

I was at Walgreens yesterday before the snow storm to get a few items cost a 71 dollars . I am between credit card renewal and I wrote a check . I am 72 years old I've lived for 16 years 1 mile away from Walgreens in Howell Michigan . Their machine couldn't process my check it's called TeleCheck . I called my bank on speakerphone and my check was fine and no problem on the bank send . I tried also another card from my other bank . It didn't go through TeleCheck . Finally I had to leave all the groceries . I have really good credit and plenty of money in my checking account . I already dropped them for pharmacy because of their unprofessional treatment . So after several telechecks and three employees I left the groceries and went home . I called TeleCheck which is in China or South Korea and they didn't recognize our banks Bank of America and Flagstar and they couldn't speak English . They are what are they 12,000 miles away . And none of these employees can approve a check when they're talking to the bank , this is totally pathetic . But this is Howell Michigan .

Horrible customer service. Went to drive today because I am sick and the pharmacy tech refused to sell me a CoVID home test. I told I saw they had them in stock I looked online before coming. She told me I would need to go in . really ??? You want me to infect the whole store because you're too lazy to get the test. Wow!

Made an appointment in the pharmacy. Showed up for appointment and was told that I would have to wait for the 4 walk-in ahead of me. Minimum 40 minute wait. What is the point of making an appointment?

Staff was effective in enforcing Covid policy and maintaining a high standard of safety and quality customer service. Employees Kealy and Alexis were approached with an adverse customer experience but were able to maintain a high level of professionalism and defuse the situation. Customers such as myself appreciate the efforts put in by the Walgreens staff to keep their customers safe and satisfied.

Called my doctor to refill my script. Sent i to this pathetic excuse for a pharmacy. Had I known I would have told them to send it across the street to CVS! Got an update that my script was ready and the hours said to pick it up by Midnight! I already knew it was was wrong, that was their pre Gretchen hours, and I confirmed that that the pharmacy online was open till 10pm or at least that is what they want you to believe. Showed up at 9:30 pm in the drive-thru and there is now a sign that says the pharmacy closes at 9pm! Talk about bait and switch! Worse pharmacy ever!

Being a type 1 diabetic, I have a lot of stuff every month I need to pick up here. I’m always taken care of here in a timely and professional manner. The staff is very friendly! On two separate occasions my insurance has tried to change my coverage on something and both times the wonderful people at Walgreens’s have called on my behalf and got the situation solved. I have enough stuff to worry about with my condition and to have a pharmacy that not only will go to bat for you but also makes you feel like they care is really something special!! Thank you to all the wonderful folks at my local Walgreens’s. You’ve got a costumer for life!!
