If I could give 0 stars I would. Customer service is trash especially when trying to physically call the store to speak to someone directly. In my most recent shopping experiences whether online or in- store I'm really debating on ever shopping at wal-mart again

Place is a joke , over the years they have accused us of stealing and refused to take our money. Last year, we paid at the self checkout half in cash and the rest on the card. Needless to say the system malfunctioned, and they didn't have an account for how much cash we paid with. Their cameras can only see the bills and not the actual amount being paid. So they accused us of lying about the amount we paid and attempting to steal. Then last week, my wife went to pay for groceries and the chip on our credit card didn't work. Rather than taking the order to a cashier and punching in the credit card manually they refused her service and told her she couldn't pay. We won't be shopping at that Walmart ever again after this altercation. The blatant dishonesty and failure to do something as simple as punching in a credit card number that a mom and pop party store has the ability to do is absolutely unbelievable and unacceptable.

This is the second time in a month that I have been to this store. Both times there was someone with their dog in the store. I have worked with someone who trained service dogs and it was obvious that neither time were these dogs service dogs. one was dirty, mangled and sniffing everything. Today the dog was obviously a puppy that just ran around not listening to the owner Both times I said something to the owners and both times they insisted that they were service dogs, then became irate when I insisted that I could tell that they were not. When talking to management, I was told there was nothing they could do if someone declared their dog as a service dog. This is a public health violation and I will not be shopping here anymore

I love when you have items listed on your app for local pick up, so I drive 20 minutes to your store. I grab 4 funko protector boxes. They scan as an "unknown item" and I'm told by the cashier I can't buy them.. BUT THEYRE ON THE SHELVES AND WEBSITE WITH A PRICE Absolute joke.

No more Walmart for me. I understand controlling for COVID, but they just recently closed their second entrance. That doesn't even control for COVID because 3 employees let a woman walk right in without a mask. It is private property... They have it posted that you must wear a mask, yet nobody cares. Then, the garden center had absolutely nothing. I'll go across the street. Bye bye Walmart.

Went to the Howell Walmart 01/28/2020. We are senior citizens in our middle 80's. Have shopped here for a long time, When shopping in the cosmetics area, the floor had large spills on the floor that looked like it had been there for days !!. Then on the way out from shopping, my wife had to use the restroom. when she came out, she told me it was discusting !!!....toilet did not flush, paper toweling all over the floor, the paper toweling was in a stack on top of the dispensary, and generally a "Dirty" restroom !!!. what is happening to the Walmart Store Standards ????. I guess store management should start have department managers to personally check out there responsible areas !!!

Why is it on a Saturday night that I along with other shoppers who have done their weekly grocery shopping are STILL STANDING IN A LINE WAITING TO BE RUNG UP AFTER A WAIT OF 25 MINUTES ??? Because there are only 2 human beings actually ringing up customers at 7pm, THATS WHY! There are more than half a dozen self check out lines running which is fine for those that are only buying a couple of things. And there are plenty of Walmart employees running around that are trying to get you to use the self checkout. When they could oh I don't know, open another lane for their customers, and if they lack the skills to operate a register I'm sure they could see their way clear to call someone up from the back! This is sad sad sad, and it very well could reflect on my willingness to shop with Walmart again Friday June 15, 2018 Because I just couldn't learn from the previous visit , I decided to give em another shot. It's the middle of the afternoon, nothing going on, parking lot isn't overly packed, cool right ? Where in the heck are all of the handicapped carts ? Are you getting so cheap that you have even cut back on the number of carts you have in your store Walmart ? I managed to get myself from the pharmacy doors to the grocery doors and back, although it took a long time. There were NO CARTS AT ALL! I saw one woman with a cart and no one else. We left and went across the road and spent a whole bunch of money at Meijer. Walmart , you guys are going to cheap yourselves right out of business if you're not careful...

This is one of the best Walmart I have ever been to. Super friendly. Store is,always well organized and clean. Very spacious setup and wide aisles makes shopping an ease. Love love the grocery pick up service!!! Way better than krogers. There is no service fee and they let you check your meat and produce to ensure that you are happy with the quality. Very friendly and fast service..no. 1 pick hands down!

This Walmart has the rudest and most incompetent employees I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with in my entire life. Zero common Sense used by any of them. And the old ladies are the worst. THE WORST. So rude and miserable. Ive NEVER written a bad review in my life, but given my most recent visit here I felt compelled. These people really need some lessons on common sense 101 and not being flat out MISERABLE!

Walmart, really, your take a survey page sucks. Also order a half sheet cake for an adult birthday and it's probably hands down the worst cake I have ever had. Dry cake and the frosting was so sweet it was not edible by most. Very disappointed, you could really take a lesson from Costco's bakery.

A dirty, unkempt disaster of a Wal-Mart. If it were better maintained, floors clean, shelves organized, bathrooms clean, I could get over the rude and crass employees. I understand that Wal-Mart feels compelled to hire the elderly and handicapped, and that's great, but that's no excuse for the employees to treat you like your an idiot or inconvenience. Not only are the employees seemingly unaware of where anything is in the store, but if you approach them for help they either pass it along to someone else, (who's just as clueless) or talk down to you like you should know where the product your looking for is, or that you've inconvenienced them in some way. I also don't appreciate being stopped either by a cashier or greeter to check my bag and proof of purchase EVERYTIME I LEAVE, once ok, maybe around the holidays, understandable, but to do it every time I visit? Ridiculous. Also management needs to take a lesson in personal space and how to deal with a customer. Upset at a less than favorable shopping experience, I went to the service desk to complain, after having a manager come out to talk personally with me he not only spoke broken English but proceeded to grab my arm as well to better explain himself. This is unacceptable and violation of my personal space, angry I was grabbed and having to explain myself several times to someone who isn't getting it finally pushed me to not shop at the Howell Wal-Mart anymore. If I must go to a Wal-Mart I will go to Fowlerville or Hartland, where its clean, orderly and the employees are much more personable.

This Walmart is always hilarious. There's a good chance that there's someone being arrested in the parking lot for shoplifting. The store is fairly clean & organized, but like any other Walmart asking for help is nearly impossible. Also, only one of the doors are open at night which is super frustrating. I always forget which side to park on that has the door open!

I have been to this walmart many times in my life, It's always messy, and I can't remember the last time I saw a member of staff cleaning, which is odd, in my opinion. I have heard instances where staff has refused to help, and/or have ignored African American customers, which is WRONG. My favorite part of the walmart is the Deli, the old ladies there are very nice, polite, and kind and the food is very good. I really hope the staff and management discover this review and fix what I feel is wrong I do not like ths walmart

Boycotting Howell Walmart They refuse to fix a purchase that THEY messed up, offered to replace it with something that was 1/5th the price, then charged me for it and claimed if I refused to pay it they would have me arrested for leaving the store. Talk about bad business etiquette!

5-stars for integrity. Actually, this is a very clean and well-maintained Walmart, and if it weren't for that idiotic and retarded exit that doesn't let you back on I-96... which someone should STILL be shot for.... I'd come here more often on my way up north. My story goes like this: I was on my way upnorth and wanted to grab a few things that I can only get at Walmart. It was getting late and I was kind of in hurry to press on, so I was a bit distracted. In order to make haste, I asked a very friendly Walmart cashier for quicker directions to to get back on 96 West as I was checking out. In painstaking detail, she proceeded to give me directions, which was the way I've know for years to get back on... through town. Despite my several attempts to thank her and stop her from explaining... and being a little embarrassed because it was holding up the small line.. she kept giving directions.. and forgot to give me $100 cash back I took out on my debit card. I didn't notice it either, and in a hurry, I departed. I ran to Meijer across the street (Walmart does not have EVERYTHING) and as I was on my way to the car in the parking lot, a cataclysmic explosion went off in my tiny brain: Did that lady give me my $100? And did I even take out the $100 or did I just think I did? Some definite signs that I need to slow down a little or lay off the drugs. I quickly rifled through my pockets. Yep... there is was right on the receipt... $100 cash back. And no where near that amount in my wallet. Crap! How am I going to prove it and get my money back? Cameras? A lie detector test? Seduce the 60+ year old woman and reach my hand in the drawer while she wasn't looking (the CASH drawer, not HER drawers, you sick fucks). I ran back across the street, and just my luck.. she was gone. Did she even exist? Ok, now I REALLY need to lay off the drugs. I ran to the customer service counter and found she did indeed go on break. I explained her drawer *should* come out $100 over, but realized nothing was probably going to get done at 11pm at night. They were actually very nice about it, as I was expected eye rolls or looks of suspicion, but I got none of that. They took my name and number, and I left and hoped for the best. I called about 3 days later, when I was on my way back from upnorth, and I talked to the shift manager. Again, given all the complaining people do about Walmart, I braced for a hassle. Not at all what happened. A very friendly woman offer no details or lengthy explanations like I am putting you through right now... she simply said she leave the $100 in a safe with my name on it, and I could get it whenever I wanted. I came back a few days later, and in a grand total of about 5 minutes, I walked in, gave them my name, got my money and was on my merry way. Wow. Impressive customer service and not what I expected. Thank you, Walmart, you may win me over just yet!
