Don was good in sales, and was a great help in choosing a couch, but ownership will do nothing except charge you more $$ if you have any issues as we did. A lot different attitude than when grandpa started the store, he knew customer service. Spend 3k on a couch, you would expect assistance not a charge if you have a small issue. Lots of places to go, next purchase it won't be Talsma.

Bought a couch and a chair and the springs popped out . They sent a repair man to fix it but still billed us because it was just over a year since the purchase date. Not impressed considering the price we paid for the furniture.

Don took the time to help me with my couch purchase and also with my bed frame. Even though he didn’t have what we were looking for, he want out of his way to help me to find one that would work. There are no other place that I would shop at for my furniture needs. If you do stop in, ask for Don because he will make sure that you are satisfied

I have purchased several items over the years from Talsma Furniture during their annual warehouse sale. I have been nothing but pleased with the help I’ve received in the warehouse as well as the guys who delivered my items. I do appreciate the gentlemen who wore masks while coming into my home to deliver my furniture this weekend. They didn’t complain about wearing one and understood why I asked. I will definitely purchase furniture this store in the future.

I have purchased furniture multiple times at Talsma’s and have never had a piece of furniture I didn’t love.About 8 years ago I bought some furniture from a poor quality furniture store which didn’t stand up to our lifestyle so decided to replace.In July we went to Talsma furniture to browse. Aaron greeted us and asked if he could help. When I told him what we were thinking would work for us he found exactly what I was describing! Aaron spent a LOT of time helping us understand the durability of the fabrics and makes of each piece, helping us pick fabrics and pillows and explained quality.When my furniture was delivered I realized the chair color was wrong. After checking my paperwork I found that it was the color we ordered but not the one we meant to order. After calling Aaron, he replace the chair for the correct color without two much of a problem for us at all! I will not shop anywhere else for furniture ever again.Thank you Aaron!!

We had a very good experience at Talsma Furniture in Hudsonville they had exactly what we wanted in stock. Our salesperson Don was very helpful and took care of all of our needs and we picked up the furniture the same day. He made it a very pleasant experience.

I have been dealing with issues with their online billing for months. I have called for assistance only to have them enter the account info for me because there is no reason it shouldn’t work. They even did it wrong or their system is not working correctly. I had to fight with them to even try. It’s not allowing me to edit account info. No one is helpful what so ever. I feel like an inconvenience when I’m just trying to pay my bill in a timely manner and pay a chunk of the balance. I am sincerely angry because while I attempt with my valuable time to fix this situation they charge me fees even when they mess up entering it into the system. They will sell you the furniture but their payment system leaves something to be desired in the way of customer service. Thank you Talsma for taking my money then making me feel like I don’t matter when trying to pay my bill.

Don was great. He introduced himself, directed us to our area of interest and left us alone to browse. He then circled back to us to answer any questions and we ordered the sofa and chair we found. Very knowledgeable and helpful.
