One of our senior dogs had an issue while we were in the area and the staff at Indian River Veterinary Clinic were great helping us out. Our girl has underlying health issues, so they contacted our home veterinary clinic for detailed information prior to our visit. Every staff member I had contact with was friendly, knowledgeable and caring. Her diagnosis required outside lab work and the vet assured me that the results would be sent not only to me, but also our home vet clinic as well. Since we visit the area multiple times a year, we are relieved to have a relationship with this veterinary office should any further issues arise with our pets.

Every single person there was super nice. And just amazingly comfortable on explaining everything. My dogs met a porcupine coincidentally every September for the last 3 years! End every single time no other vets could get my fur babies in. Indian River veterinary clinic went out of their way to make time instead of sending me to traverse City like all of the surrounding clinics have!! And they are on point! They call you and stay in touch. Every single step of the way. Especially If you do not have time to just sit in the waiting room. I absolutely know for a fact that I can always depend on the Indian River veterinary clinic!!!!! And from talking to these ladies they do not beat around the bush they tell you exactly how it is and I love that even more because I want to know!!! And with that being said this is why I absolutely give them five stars!!! Because I've been there and I have zero complaints whatsoever absolutely none. Even the medication they give you is dummy proof ? I literally cannot thank them enough for getting my dogs in when they were already fully booked ❤️❤️❤️ because everybody else in the surrounding counties turned me away ?

Full disclosure - I never actually made it into the vet. I was on vacation and my dog had an issue. I called to try to get an appointment and spoke to Maureen. She was very kind, but unfortunately they were booked because of other emergencies. Later in the day I received a call back (I don't remember even leaving my number) telling me they had a spot open if I still needed help. The fact that they remembered I had called and called me back later, even though I'm not a client, shows a real level of caring and concern. I was very impressed and appreciated it so much. Thank you.

I would recommend Indian River Veterinary Clinic to my friends and family! The doctors there have been wonderful. They have been our vets since my dog was a puppy and she is now 12. We love Dr. Heidi and Dr. Sarah. We just met Dr. Grace and we are very happy with her too.

Dr Heidi and her assistant were to patient and caring for our 3 dogs. This is not just a job for them it's a matter of going the extra mile in doing the right care for each dog.

Dr Heidi was incredibly caring and sympathetic when we had to let our beloved cat go. This is always a very difficult time and she really helped relieve the pain. We will always be grateful.

Don’t call there if your dog is injured and bleeding out cause they won’t help and put you on hold then say well they can’t help cause the dog hasn’t been there before now that’s a vet that really cares about animals what a joke

The entire team was fantastic! We visited the clinic with our 8 month old lab pup who had an urgent health issue. From the front desk to the vet techs to Dr Ginop, everyone was professional and welcoming. They diagnosed and treated our pup in a timely manner and sent us on our way. Highly recommend the clinic!
