Very unprofessional I called first to make sure they where accepting new donors and was told not until after 10:00am.I came in before they closed at 4:00pm and I was turned around and told that they ended taking new donors early due to short staffing and staff leaving early.Very inconvenient and inconsistent will not be coming back after this terrible experience.Nobody was available to screen me and music was blasting up front.Ill just continue to go to octapharma at least I won’t have to worry about being turned around at the door and the inconvenience of the staff.Wouldnt even give this place a 1 star review.A suggestion to any new donors just go somewhere else…..

Doesn't pay enough seems they pay less more progressively for donations. Especially for medical mishaps. Little to no care or contributions. But a few kind good hearted employees

I went through 2 days of preliminary but was told to leave the prescription information and call back and 10 minutes but no one answered the phone. So the next day I spoke to a nurse and she said no one can give me information over the phone but I was in person 2 days plus 3 hrs and no one could help me nor have time. This $10,000 competition is only if you're 100 percent healthy and if the workers want to help you donate as a new donor. If they give you attitude and the run around and no heads up on medical questions on the kiosk so you can get medical records requested from day 1 instead of day 3 you won't make the competition. Instead of the nurse blaming their worker for telling me to leave and call while giving me wrong information, she blamed me so I hung up. I will not be back.

HANDS DOWN one of THE BEST plasma donation centers in the area. Undeniably! Now, I’m not sure if ALL Biomat locations are the same as far as fees and policies go but I would assume so, I don’t see why different locations for the same companies policies would change, and I’m not SURE that all locations staff members preform and work at the same level of professionalism as this location in inkster but as far as compared to any other plasma center, Biomat is undeniably top tier the best center you can choose to donate with by far! The staff is very polite and very PROFESSIONAL! All staff members are very respectful of the donors and considerate insureing the safety and comfort to all donors! All staff members are very knowledgeable of the work they do, they’re very professional with the business that they run and follow the rules and protocols exactly as they are and don’t try to take advantage of the job or be lazy on days they may not be in the best mood to help personally benefit themselves, for example, I wouldn’t recommend you take this and take advantage of it, but they have a strict rule that if any donors are in the building before closing, even if you haven’t gone through the medical screening if you are inside the building after closing hours they will not kick you out or deny you your donations so don’t worry if you are running late and they close soon if you make inside before closing they will not deny you!! The fees are actually reasonable and helpful 40$ 1st donation 85$ the second, others fees are so petty it’sOnly enough for gas as low as 20-40$ 1t and second donation. HIGHLY recommend 5 out of 5 stars! GOOD JOB BIOMAT! You’re doing good!

September 18, 2023To the General Staff of Grifols - Farmington,I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my deep disappointment and concern regarding an incident that occurred during my visit to Grifols in Farmington on Monday, September 18, 2023. As a donor who has recently transitioned from another plasma center and has over 10 years of experience in plasma donation, I have always valued the services provided by plasma centers and have never encountered such an issue before.During my second visit to Grifols in Farmington, while waiting for my donation process, I received an important phone call that required my immediate attention. Understanding the significance of the call and due to my condition, I discreetly stepped outside the center to answer it, ensuring that I did not disrupt or inconvenience anyone. To my surprise and dismay, upon returning to the center, I was publicly scolded by a staff member known as Kathy in front of other donors and staff members. The tone and manner in which this reprimand was delivered were highly unprofessional and disrespectful. I was left feeling embarrassed and humiliated, which is entirely unacceptable given the circumstances. As a long-term donor with prior experience at another plasma center and someone who deals with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), I have always adhered to the protocols and guidelines set forth by plasma donation centers. I have never caused any disruptions or inconveniences to the staff or other donors. Therefore, I find it particularly disheartening that I was subjected to such unprofessional behavior during my visit.I kindly request the following actions be taken to address this issue:1. An immediate investigation into the incident to ascertain the details and the staff member involved.2. An official written apology from Kathy, the staff member responsible for the public scolding incident.3. A review and reinforcement of customer service and professionalism guidelines among all staff members to prevent similar incidents in the future.4. Assurance that appropriate disciplinary action will be taken against Kathy, in accordance with Grifols' policies.I have always held plasma donation centers, including Grifols, in high regard and have appreciated the exceptional services provided over the years. However, this incident has left me questioning the professionalism and respect I should expect during my visits. It is crucial to maintain a positive and supportive atmosphere for both donors and staff members.I kindly request that this matter be treated with the seriousness it deserves. If necessary, I am prepared to escalate this complaint to higher authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure appropriate action is taken. As a donor with significant experience and one who faces the challenges of PTSD, I believe it is essential to uphold the ethical standards and professionalism associated with healthcare settings.I would appreciate a prompt response to this complaint, acknowledging the receipt of my concerns and outlining the actions that will be taken to address them. I trust that Grifols will take the necessary steps to rectify this situation and restore my confidence in your organization.Thank you for your attention to this matter.Sincerely,Michael Powers

Very professional place to donate plasma. They are extremely organized and when it's not too busy they get you in and out! My first time donating here the employee Mesha assisted me with my intake process which allowed me to be in and out within 2 and half hours.. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Fantastic place to donate. I’ve been to the other centers and they just treat me like I’m a number. This place treats me like I am a person. I feel like they see me. Very nice staff.

This is supposed to be a great opportunity to help people in need of Plasma. However, when the workers are disrespectful, angry, and ignorant. It's impossible to give the much needed plasma. The workers, management included, forces New Donors to seek better services elsewhere.

This place is as bad as the reviews say. The women in the front do nothing but talk to each other rather than taking care of their clients. They exude favoritism and allow their regulars to cut in front of others. That nurse just runs around the front distracting the workers, haven’t seen her do one thing productive. The back workers are fine. The front staff are driving this center into the ground. They make the rules and threw out the corporate rules. Non stop complaining about wanting to go home, then quit!

This place is as bad as the reviews say. The women in the front do nothing but talk to each other rather than taking care of their clients. That nurse VICTORIA just runs around the front distracting the workers, haven’t seen her do one thing productive. She give’s attitude to anyone in the building. DRIVES UP the bp and pulse of patients just to kick them out. The back workers are fine. The front staff are driving this center into the ground. They make the rules and threw out the corporate rules. Non stop complaining about wanting to go home, then quit! Especially that hostile nurse.

This place is clean, but the employees are extremely rude, hold inappropriate conversations in front of potential donors, arguing back with the clients, as well as being unprofessional, in a professional environment, amongst people who are donating their PLASMA, to keep the employees in Business. Nicole, the nurse has a very nasty attitude, talks with sas, towards people, who they need to stay employed, the employees pick and choose who they want to PASS. The employees here also, violate client HIPPA, by accessing and viewing their FACEBOOK, then developing a personal opinion towards a person, they should not be WATCHING in the first place. I completed the investigation, from a higher perspective, and standpoint, therefore Grifols, you can handle, and address the issues as needed. Many people are judged in this place, by the employees. Also I hadt blood drawn, and taken for a sample, 2 months ago. I checked into y'all procedures, what was a tube of my blood, collected, and used for, besides PLASMA. It was collected by the skinny light skin girl with glasses. I would like to know MYSELF, are employees suppose to draw their own personal samples. I think not, so many violations, witnessed at this place. State can come in and address it NOW. Thank you! I wouldn't refer nobody here, your information, as well as your blood is EXPOSED.

Honestly I've only been to one other plasma donation center CSL in Lincoln Park and if you have the option choose this one everytime drastically nicer staff was very friendly and sociable and the initial payment of 100 first donation was really great.

I have been going to this place off and on for over two years and will no longer go there. Most of the time when your done they wrap the puncture area loosely and you'll end up bleeding all over yourself or not pay you for hours or up to a day later. My last experience I was turned away due to a sweat bump on my bicep from sweating while I was at work. This place is not professional at all. The Asian guy is rude and is usually talking smack about other donors with the ladies up front. I also called the number that is going to pop up in response to this review and they pretended they could not hear my name when asked then laughed and hung up. Worst place to go to donate. It's sad that this process saves lives but these employees don't care.

Them 2 Females working the front Counter should be in the back somewhere away from the general public!!. Them attitudes will turn people away and have everybody blood pressure high!. It's no reason I should hear 2 Employees talking about "Attitudes" while I'm on the Kiosk!. I hear they whole conversation about how they don't have attitudes But it may sound like it because it's early and they at Work ?Before this, I gave this place nothing But Rave Reviews for they Customer Service. And I wish I knew they Names so I could just put them on blast and not the entire staff. Because they've all been Professional except these 2. Specifically the short Black lady who did my Vitals.Idk who Hired her But y'all need to send her to Csl Plasma!. She making y'all look bad!!!!.Those Kiosk are Filthy, Crumbs and stains all over the screen But she has the nerve to say u can't wash ur hands after you get off the Kiosk because you could get Deferred ?So obviously Sanitation isn't a Top Priority at this place!. You Lost A Donor!!! ✌️
