They tried to charge me $14 dollars for a rabies certificate, after I had already spent $200+ on the actual vaccinations, at their facility. Needless to say, I won't be going back.

I have taken my Fur Babies to Dr Hermann Office in Westland for many years. The Services are limited to, Vaccine's, Flea Treatments, Simple Health Evaluations & Referrals. I feel that the Services were more thorough & the staff was more Sincere, Before Dr. Hermann passed away. I miss him ?.

If you care about your animals, do NOT take them here! I have been bringing all my animals to dr Hermann for the last 10+ years, he was a wonderful vet. The woman who took over for him has absolutely no idea what she is doing, and almost cost me my Furbaby. I brought my cat, in to see her bc he was vomiting and coughing, she listened to his chest and told me she thought he had congestive heart failure but that I should get bloodwork and xrays to be certain, which i did. On our follow up visit she told me that the xrays showed that he has cardiomegaly and that it has progressed so far that there was really nothing she could do for him. She said that his heart was so large that he wouldn’t survive being sedated to do anything about it but said if i wanted to find a cardiologist then that would be the only other option. My cat is my child so I decided to pay the very expensive cardiologist appointment. I went to the cardiologist appointment and they ran a few tests including an echo of his heart. When they were finished the Cardiologist came in the room and the first words that came out of his mouth were “it’s time to find a new vet” ?. He said that my cats heart was absolutely perfect, which he said was impressive for his age, and told me that he has absolutely no idea where she got that idea from bc his heart is not even slightly enlarged. It scares me to think about the hard decision I would have had to make if I didn’t have the money for the cardiologist appointment :’(.
P.S. my cat’s cardiologist and myself called multiple times to try to get my cats records sent over to them. Dr. Hermann’s office never did so or even had the decency to return one of my MANY phone calls requesting them. My guess is they want to cover their butts bc her diagnosis was so incredibly wrong.

This is our main vet, we usually do their walkin clinics, but today we needed to be seen quick. So we went to the main office.
