“I went to a concert here last weekend. It was the Traverse Symphony orchestra- they played the Brandenburg Concertos. So beautiful, fyi. Love me some classical music. The symphony is rebranding and becoming the TC philharmonic soon. Due to this venue, Corson Auditorium, being an indoor concert hall at a school for theater and music students from all over the world- expect good acoustics. The end.”

Our tour guide, Clover, was so fun, passionate, and engaging, and her love and excitement for the history of this place was contagious. As a Traverse City native, I was shocked by how much I didn’t know about this crucial piece of the town’s history. 10/10 would recommend, whether you’re a local or from out of town.
