They don't sell all types of food on the menu during venue events- they had a separate tent set up for concert food. Stood in line awhile to learn that.

One of my friends ordered a cheeseburger and waited for about an hour. She asked one of the staff about it, and they repeatedly told her that it would be around 5 to 30 minutes. Another girl waited for pizza for 20 minutes, and one of the staff told her that they were all out, she said that she paid for it. That same staff just walked away without saying anything.

Outside of the ice cream, they have some delicious muffins and pretzels. They work quickly with the orders, and their inventory stays full no matter the size of the line.

I have yet to meet a student at Interlochen that doesn't have at least two or three good things to say about the Melody Freeze, or MoFro in the 'student dialect'. I can confirm, after numerous firsthand experiences, that all the good things the students say are true!I mean really, how can you go wrong, it's got thick milkshakes, good coffee, fruity smoothies, wonderful soft serve ice cream, delicious pizza and so many more things it's easy to lose count... The prices are 'reasonableish', the staff is friendly & fast and the things you hear the students talking about while you wait in line with them are usually worth the few $ you're spending anyway!If you stay at the Stone Hotel, on campus, they give you a token to use at the MoFro, I highly suggest using it, no matter the Season. Whether staying on campus or dropping in for the day, you will be pleasantly surprised by the selection and happy with whichever treat you choose, I'm nearly certain of it. Enjoy!Kid-friendliness: This would be a great place for kids. The menu is easy to see, there is plenty of room to run around while waiting and most everything you can order is filled with sugary goodness...Parking: The parking on campus is plentiful, but not near the Melody Freeze as it's a 'walk up' kinda place, at least 100ft from the nearest parking spot...Wheelchair accessibility: The Melody Freeze and most of the Interlochen campus would be considered wheelchair accessible.

Great place for ice or a snack.theserving staff is extremely friendly but they get the job done promptly and çourtiously.

It's a good place to get food, the chocolate malts are incredible! The hours can be a bit strange though.

When at Interlochen Music Camp, or just visiting, you gotta get ice cream. And the Melody Freeze is the place to go. It's just fun and the kids are great, and the ice cream is pretty darn good as well. Go. Enjoy. And have some fun.

Great ice cream at the camp. Really cheap and speedy and there are many great flavors and items on the menu to try. Love it!

Everytime I come here, I visit Melody Freeze Cafe. It has all the things teens like - hot dogs, hamburgers, ice cream and plenty of candy.
