No excuse for this level of incompetence and inconsideration. This isn't the first, second, or third time this kind of thing has happened, but it's the most upsetting. An expensive and thoughtful gift from my mother, that's destroyed before I even received it because some postal worker bent it in half (the wrong way -- destroying the binding) to cram it into my mailbox when we have other places they've left this same kind of package. I'll update if they make it right, but to be honest, I'm not holding my breath.

This was the worst experience ever the person at the desk pretty much told me to shut up multiple times was very rude and gave horrible experience the entire time.

Got a. Certified letter notice in mailbox and it said we missed you. WELL we were here the whole time Also we were outside in front door yard area. He never even pulled in driveway to deliver. Just being lazy and not doing his job. Will be calling PO tomorrow. This wasn't the first time either, been a few other times.

If I could give no stars I would. My grandparents send me money for every holiday since living in interlochen my money has been stolen out of my cards and delivered with a ripped open envelope. Anytime I order something I get a notification they don’t have access to my driveway (even in the dead of summer), When it’s winter time my very short driveway is always plowed as I drive a super small front wheel car. My money is being stolen and they’re not delivering their packages. Whoever is the driver for interlochen post office needs to be watched with a closer eye.

Address was correct on the package.After reading reviews, I see this is a troubled post office and many complaints similar to mine.

It’s now frequent to go weeks on end without mail delivery for everyone on my road. Garbage trucks, UPS, FedEx, everyone else makes it through just fine, but USPS refuses to service anyone if there’s just a single drop of rain outside! After calling numerous times, no one does anything to resolve any issues, other than offering us the option to drive there and pick it up!

20 years of business with IPO with no complaints. I had to reroute 3 packages to my po box from a Canadian supplier while items in transit with DHL. Interlochen post office took care of this with a simple phone call from me. Great job peeps!Note: the Canadian company and DHL were of no help despite emails and calls. My items would have been returned to sender.

I’ve lived in Interlochen for almost a year. Everyone in the post office has been friendly and professional. The line is usually short and filled with people I know. Ignore the 1 star reviews. This is a nice little post office.

I wouldn't listen to the haters here. I have been using this post office for more than 5 years now. I have gotten nothing but GREAT service. They have taken packages for return that I have already opened and just resealed because they were the wrong item, and could get in trouble for that. The delivery people are great, one saw I had a package as they were leaving for delivery and waited for me so they could take it. The workers inside have been so nice and kind helping me out, even going as far as personally calling my number when I asked them to because I really needed a package for a workday. NO POST OFFICE WOULD CARE! But they called me three times when my phone was on mute to tell me before they closed. Ignore these haters, not everyone is perfect, but of the 5+ years I have been with them, I have gotten 100% satisfaction. And for the people complaining about the hours... read the sign CLOSELY!!! It SPECIFIES that they have lunch hours and WILL NOT be at the window for a good 30 minutes to an hour.DELIVERY PEOPLE: Deserves A+WORKERS: Deserves A+REVIEWERS: Deserves D+
