Used to be great but with a change in ownership and management it is not good. Of course, if you want dried and tasteless rib prime, forgotten beverages, cold veggies... then it is fine. The can pay me to try their food again... but not worth opening my wallet to go there.

We went here on New Year’s so they were out of quite a few things on their menu. The food though was good and so were the drinks.Parking: There are a lot of spots to park and it’s free.Kid-friendliness: They offer kid friendly meals.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair ramp.

I was really disappointed about my experience here today. I had a craving for a wonderful juicy burger and famers just didn't not satisfy that craving. I asked for medium rare and the burger came out medium well, dry, and crunchy on the outside. This is the third time my husband and I have given famers a chance. And I've been here for social outings as well that were equally disappointing. Ive had issues here ranging from service, to forgetting food that was ordered to quality issues. Today we had the junk basket ($20, way overpriced) and the timberstone burger ($18) and a beer that was $10. The wonderful older waitress was kind enough to give a $1 discount. It should've been more for the improperly cooked burger but we didn't want to cause the waitress too much trouble. I've also noticed allot of the waitstaff tends to hang around the bar talking for extended periods of time (today's waitress was wonderful and she didn't do that). Theres just something that puts me off about the servers having social gatherings up there and this has happend every time ive been to famers. This place is just way overpriced for the service and quality and I feel bad for the people that fly in to go skiing here. A hot quality meal would be wonderful after a long day of skiing. To the people that are here visiting: there are better places to eat in town.

We've been coming to Famer's since moving to Iron Mountain in 2006. Many owners and managers later they are still here and doing good. One thing I didi notice is that they are now the most expensive restaurant we go to locally. Cheese curds are $14 buck! A little bit too much. Otherwise, still great And good food

Super good food and staff, great ambiance 12 months, but when crowded you cannot hear yourself think because of all the hard surfaces causing echo. When they have music, it will break your eardrums, so take some plugs.

I was visiting Pine Mountain recently. I thought it would be a nice place to have some lunch. It wasn’t busy at all when I went in. There was 2 other tables besides mine so it was mostly empty .I got a menu and the first thing I noticed was the price. $18 for a pulled pork sandwich, $19 for a burger is a little high but whatever. I was hungry and if it’s good, fine. Well, it was not good. I got the pulled pork. The pork was dry, and it looked like it had been out for a while. The fries were cold. I don’t mind paying a higher price for quality food but this was not it. Wholeheartedly would not recommend.

Rhi at the restaurant bar was great and so were the other co-workers on perhaps their busiest day if the year, ski jumps weekend. It appears they have. Anrw food and beverage director, so I anticipate everything improving a notch from where it was a year or two ago. All in all, Famers has always been a fun place to grab a bite to eat and a drink in Iron Mountain any time of year

The service was horrible. We got our orders and they were not even close to what we ordered. The menu was a temporary menu, but did not have any descriptions of what the items came with or what they were. The portions of cheese curds we ordered were completely different my date had half what I had. There appeared to be a cook behind the bar area doing shots in a wife beater. Very classy joint if you want your service to be miserable. The only thing good, was the food tasted great. That was it. Our waitress seemed to be bothered that we were her table. I would not recommend this place at all, you'd get better service at Mc. Donald's for half the price.

Generally I have been underwhelmed with Famer’s offerings. Staff are hit and miss and I’ve had some awful experiences with wait staff. Food is usually good but the only phenomenal thing I’ve had here is their cheesecake. Their food is good, but more expensive than what I personally feel it’s worth. Okay, but just not fabulous.

Excellent 4 course special menu for Valentine's day! Prepared beautifully from start to finish with great atmosphere and service. Loved it! Thank you Famers!

We had a wonderful breakfast at Famers restaurant today. Great Denver Omelette and Eggs Benedict! As always, the servers were super friendly and attentive. We were told by Evan, the new Food & Beverage Manager, that the restaurant is planning a new menu and other surprises to happen soon. We are in love with the lemon blueberry scones Evan made. Oh my goodness!!! Scrumptious! So happy they will be on the new menu. This is a restaurant we've always counted on for great burgers, ruebens and fish fry. Can't wait to see the new additions to the menu. So glad we live nearby.

The service was great, but that’s all I can really say. Dinner was collectively, between our party of 10, wasn’t great. Burger I ordered was very dry and over cooked, French onion soup was okay but strangely spicy. Breakfast wasn’t bad, but left a lot to be desired.

I've enjoyed this place before.. But, Our group of 7 committed the unforgivable sin of asking to slide a couple tables together. They allowed it, but rewarded us with never coming to our table. Not for water, not for drinks.. not to say sorry about the long wait. Many tables that arrived after us got served multiple times while we waited. I'm generally not a conspiracy theorist but it felt intentional. We ended up leaving after 45 minutes with zero service. They seemed understaffed, but a packed bar downtown had us eating in 15 minutes. They must do something right to attract enough staff. Famers could take a lesson. Cool location and atmosphere though. Maybe next time!
