Cleanest rooms and most comfortable beds in Iron Mountain. Pleasant staff. I'm disabled so elevator=BONUS! Good wifi and decent TV. Didn't get a chance to do more or try the restaurant, but I'm going back soon!

We stayed at Pine Mountain from 8/15/23 to 9/17/23. We had rooms 320 and 318. We had a lovely stay there. Emily, Lindsay and Patty are lovely ladies to have for front desk staff. Very accommodating, kind and friendly. The only issue we had was in Room 320. We had to switch rooms because our 98 year old mother was with us. We needed handicap accessible. Room 318 worked out better for her. The bathroom door in room 320 didn't open without banging into the toilet. I got up to use the bathroom in the night and hit my knee that I had just had replaced, into the glass shower door because the door didn't open. Every time we needed to use the toilet, we had to step into the shower to go in and be able to shut the door. Famer's Restaurant was very nice. Food was very good. Really enjoyed the scenery around the resort and the amenities.

Great place to stay! We came with our 3 kids under 5, stayed over the summer, and enjoyed the pool/hot tub/sauna, restaurant, and the overall beauty of the grounds. Only minor negatives were someone obviously smoked in our room prior to us arriving, there were ants in the room (not 1….like 20+), and there were a ton of bees outside on the rooms patio(I’m allergic). Overall, we loved the place and wished we had time to golf while we were here.

Stopped here on a motorcycle trip. Room was two small rooms connected with a bathroom in the middle-very nice for our needs. Everything very clean and staff on point. Only negative is I wish they had table and chair in the room. 5/5 would stay

Very friendly staff, very accommodating with pets. Our little dog fit right in. 4 stars on the room only because the bathroom was quite tiny. The shower was a lage walk-in, which was very nice, but the door wouldn't open all the way due to no room. Had to squeeze around the door to use the toilet. However, we did book through an online service and the price was right. I highly recommend this place.

We did not stay at the hotel. We are locals who stopped in at famers for a lunch. The menu had quite a few items to select from. And a wide variety of of entrees. Fast service and our server was friendly. The food quality was above average. But they always have been above average. The pricing does not seem unreasonable when compared to the same types of restaurants in other areas. The restaurant was clean and the restrooms were clean. We don't usually come to famers during the winter. Even though we live only, the ski crowd is always overwhelming the restaurant. We prefer the more quiet seasons.

Rooms were nice and clean, staff was friendly and accommodating, Famers is always good, and we even checked out the hot tub, pool, and sauna!Returned a couple weeks later and stayed in one of the condos on the hill. So awesome and spacious!

We stayed in a house on the property which was overpriced, but it was nice to have a fire pit outside. The pool in the hotel was nice. We had a rehearsal dinner here and the food and service was subpar, but the food at the tasting a couple months before was delicious, so sadly we felt cheated.Food & drinks: Again, we were very disappointed in the food and service for our rehearsal dinner. The service at the front desk was excellent.

I had to stay at the resort for a wedding I was standing in, I was excited for my stay despite the cost totaling $470 for 2 nights.Which is rather outrageous. I thought for that cost I was going to be getting a quality room and amenities. However, my room was tiny and was not a 2 queen bed room I had been told I was getting - they were 2 full sized beds. There was no included breakfast which they do have a restaurant on site; but again paying $235 a night when I could have gone to a quality inn for $130 a night and got a nicer room, included breakfast and the same pool. My room had a broken tv remote, the bathroom door did not close, the balcony door did not stay shut unless locked (the balcony wobbled as well when being on it), the ac did not let me adjust it, there was duct tape on the floors holding wiring down, exposed junction boxes, the front door had to be jiggled to open, and was so lopsided the light came right into our room. You have to wait 10 minutes for the water to get warm to shower. The only real amenity was free wifi and that was extremely laggy as well and two "free" bottles of water.. I did appreciate the friendliness from the staff - I am just overall disappointed in the price, quality of my room, and lack of amenities for such a steep price (that included bridal party "discount") especially with all the issues I encountered just reserving my room and getting a confirmation and total estimate/check in information.

The food at Fames is not your run of the mill fare. They had something for everyone, from appetizers to main entree. All of it was above and beyond what I would have expected. From wait staff to the visual of the food to the flavor - all of it was so delicious. I ate every last bite, and that is 100% not who I am. I never finish anything.Thank you for a great dining experience. The staff throughout our entire stay was also friendly and so.cheerful. I highly recommend this place. Oh yeah - the view is outstanding, too!!!

This place is 100% dog friendly. ?. The front ladies were absolutely amazing. My dad went downstairs to eat leaving his grandpup in the room. She felt she needed to let everyone know that her grandpa left her all alone and she thought he'd never come back. The front lady had a complaint and she called me and was the nicest. She assured me it was ok as long as grandpa came back to ensure her that he did not infact leave her. Crisis averted. I'm glad the staff was understanding and sorry to whomever called her in. She was worried. What a beautiful resort, beautiful rooms and beautiful humans who work here. 10/10 reccomend.

Bathroom door doesn't open up all the way, tiny. Rooms are ok but nothing social. No ice machines and it took forever to get ice. Restaurant is not very good. Small menu and food marginal. Service was not very good either. Breakfast was a disaster unless you like horrible coffee, cold eggs and grey ham. Not to mention they only brought out 3 of the 4 breakfasts. Best thing is Timberstone is an 8 iron away.

Room was tiny, beds were awful. Noise in the hallway was unbearable. The door to the bathroom actually hits the toilet when you try to enter. For the price we paid for this room, I am extremely disappointed. Staff smoking right outside front entrance. Would not recommend this hotel in current condition to anyone.

First time here. We were looking for a quiet overnight getaway. We thought it would be comfortable and quiet--no skiing; no golf. The swimming pool was open to the community members, evidently because it was full of kids. The idea is praise worthy, but we would have liked to have been forewarned.Worse, there was NO hot water. When told the answer was to let it run for 10-15 minutes. Our conscience wouldn't allow that. The front desk offered to change rooms, but we were all settled in. So we lived with it.Also the rooms were not close to being sound proofed. Everytime the front door 'whooshed' open we could hear it and we were on the far end of the building. But the staff! Every person was VERY friendly and attempted to be accommodating. To no avail. This is only a 5 star hotel if the rating is based upon 100 stars possible.

The rooms at this place are horrible! Beds are VERY hard. Bathroom is very small. Very loud hallways- and lights from hallway shine through the entire frame of the door. When someone down the hall opens their door or closes their door, I could hear it.Staff was amazing.Pool and hot tub are excellent.
