I usually only have been here to drop off prepaid packages, but their front office workers have always been friendly and personable. I would much rather work with them than the Florence Postal Service workers…I’ve actually stood there (in Florence) at the counter with a heap of small prepaid labeled packages in front of me waiting for the lady no more than three feet away to acknowledge that I was standing there awaiting some assistance.
Reading others reviews about deliveries, it sounds like they need improvements to be made, but honestly I cannot envision their drivers being anywhere close to as incompetent as the newest class of Florence rural route drivers are. I mean, the homeowners are being asked to leave a non-postmaster approved storage tote near their fresh, new postmaster general-approved oversized mailboxes to avoid having their packages held hostage/being delivered on-time because their drivers “aren’t allowed to put their vehicles into reverse and back-up in people’s driveways”…And yet FedEx and UPS (with significantly larger vehicles) have zero issues doing so and they aren’t out there running people or their pets over on the daily. <— This just seems like another one of their honey-do list long pile of excuses to not have to do their jobs properly.
TL;DR: This post office is much better to deal with in-person than the sorry excuse of a post office across the bridge in Florence, WI.

Mail delivery service, you guys need to be more fatuous about animals ?♂️ you almost hit our dogs and when we told you to be more careful he states “I don’t care” be more respectful of other people.

They will not deliver the mail to your house if there's 2 millimeters of snow on your sidewalk. I've been waiting for a package for over 2 weeks. I called the post office, they couldn't find my package, said they would call me back (didn't). I went to the post office to pick up my package personally, they couldn't find it. I understand needing a path through the mail to deliver packages safely but this was crazy. If doordash can make it to my front door, so can you.

The staff are always pleasant and helpful. My reason for 3 stars instead of 5 is a change to the Post Office. Though they have the flat rate boxes there of different sizes and 2 different locations they will no longer assist you or offer tape. Instead if you need tape you must buy 22 yd roll of tape for that 1 tiny Box. I understand this probably saves them millions a year in tape. But I do not understand if this is going to be the new norm why do they do not have single use strips of tape for a much cheaper price. Understandably I now have a nice roll of tape at home but I do not keep the boxes at home and so I'll need to bring it with me every time I need to ship something. Or I can simply take a few boxes to keep in a closet. But I do not want to have a Mini Post Office at my home that is why I came to one. If I go to fedex or UPS they will pick a Box for me. If I bring my own Box there they will tape the c*** out of it to make sure it doesn't come open without even asking or charging. They just lost a customer with me. If you're going to be cheap you can at least offer a solution instead of an entire roll of tape. I miss the old Post Office.

For like the 6th time in a year I have had lost or severely late mail or deliveries and I am just losing faith in this postal system. When they tell me my letter should have arrived in a day or two and still a week later don't have it.... Yeah looks like they are dropping the ball severely. Guess it's FedEx or UPS for everything from here on out.

I lived in the same home for 12 years now. For 9 of those I had the same mail lady. She was super friendly and always a joy to run into. She loved my little mini australian shepherd and would always bring him a treat. She was let go and replaced by someone who refused to deliver if the dog was out. So I started having to keep the dog inside during the time the mail would usually come. That's fine. But lately the mailman has been showing up at extremely different times. How am I supposed to know when I can let my dog out if they are gonna randomize when they show up. I live on a corner and always shoveled the path from the neighbors to the box to the road leading to the next house. They started forcing me to shovel a path to the other road just because. It makes no sense and would take them more time to use that path then the normal one. I really miss my old mail person.

My parents live in iron mountain off of state m95 . I had a package delivered to them and instead of dropping it off by the door ! It was shoved in their mailbox and it took my father a half an hour to 45 minutes to get it out of the mailbox because it was not a small package this is very unacceptable! This is not the first time this is happened and it won’t be the last time!!! from what I’m hearing they are not the only ones that complained about the service they get! I am grateful though that nothing was broken because it was an anniversary gift! I think the service there needs to be improved because like I said he’s not the only one that’s complained!

I mailed out 3 boxes on the 11th of April in Kingsford. I paid a total of $89.00 for priority mail. They were going 8 hours away, still in Michigan. They were sent to Iron Mountain the same day, where they sat until the 15th! They were supposed to be delivered on the 13th. They were finally delivered on the 18th. Priority Mail Express is the guaranteed delivery method and the only one they reimburse if mail is late. So tell me why i will ever pay for Priority mail again!?

This place is an absolute joke!!! Once a week they send my packages to bark river instead of rapid river! There is no accountability and no one is ever reprimanded for there mistakes!! They constantly blame of Oshkosh facility which has nothing to do with them send my mail to the wrong post office weekly !!! I’m so sick of there incompetence I could puke!!! Do ur jobs!!!!! Anywhere else an employee screwed up that much would be fired but not at the usps!! I constantly pay the price for there mistake and it costs me time and money!! There useless!!
