“These people couldn’t be nicer. The guys in the shop checked a transmission issue for me and were very helpful in my moment of need. While I was waiting I had a lovely conversation with Steve Lahti, employee and father of the original owner who sadly passed away quite young a few years ago. He told me stories about his son, who was clearly a great guy, and about his other kids too; and showed me photos of his grandkids and told me how they were doing. Steve left immediately when he got a call that someone needed help (either a tow or a jump start) at the Indianhead parking lot…that is to say, call them if you need towing! If they’re available, they don’t dillydally!”
“I was borrowing a friend's car and headed for a trip to the Porcupine mountains when the ' oil change required' light came on . OMG, it was a Saturday, and I called Gogebic and got in immediately. The whole oil change took less time than it took to send two text messages. They were so super nice and great. Highly recommended.”
“I have a feeling there's not a person in the world who knows more about VWs than Eric. He's been fixing my family's cars since I was a kid. I live a ways away, but found myself with a major car issue while visiting home recently. He fixed that well, but also did a thorough sweep of the car and repaired a bunch of other stuff that would have caught up with me in time and caused bigger problems. It's been running better than it has in a long time, and I feel safer in it. Other mechanics have been fixing the biggest things to buy me time, maybe out of consideration for lifespan (my car is high mileage) but I also think because it's tedious to be thorough. Eric caught things (like a cabin filter I never checked!) that many others didn't take the time to look for. His prices are more than fair. I'm grateful for him!”

“The owner is terse, but straightforward, which I appreciate. I've been doing business with them for over a decade. I highly recommend them. They've never done me wrong and are a lot faster than going through a dealership. They wouldn't sell you anything that they wouldn't buy for themselves. Being there was almost like being in a comedy sitcom.

“We were in Ironwood for Christmas and our alternator went out. We needed to get back to Indiana and were worried about getting stuck in the upcoming winter storm. We brought our vehicle to Broadway the day after Christmas and they had the alternator replaced in just a few hours.
