Had an emergency last night, my current vet gave me little to no information & seemed very bothered that I called and just told me to bring my dog to Appleton for “immediate surgery” without doing X-rays that I asked for prior to see if my dog did, if fact, have bloat. Called NVA & he spent a good amount of time on the phone with me, having me give my dog an exam at home to see if there was any signs that would indicate she did have it. He answered all my questions on my concerns, was extremely informative & beyond kind while I was in a panic state. He walked me through on what to look for if anything had changed throughout the night & was just all around kind, genuine & very knowledgeable on the situation. I’m beyond thankful. Highly recommended! I won’t take my dogs anywhere else but here.

The staff at NVA are awesome. They are caring, kind, knowledgeable, and thorough. When issues arise or we head to the clinic for something routine, I know my pets are in good hands and receiving excellent care.

Our youngest dog has been seeing Dr. Jandron for an emergency with her eye. He has been incredibly kind and informative through the entire process. It was scary and worrying but him and his staff remained professional and compassionate with us through it. They went above and beyond to make sure she’s been comfortable every time we have brought her in. Overall, the care has been exceptional as well as the costs. We will continue to come here and see him for our other dogs!I can’t say enough positive things about him and his staff, they truly are wonderful. Thank you guys for all you do and have done for our Pika girl!

If you're in the U.P, seeking the reptile hobby I advise that you do NOT. This is the only exotic vet in all of the U.P and they will not take new clients nor give advice over the phone. If you have reptiles and not an account with this vet, your reptiles lives are at stake. They basically tell you, your out of luck and to drive out of state (thats not doable for more than half of any reptile species, thats nothing but 16+ hours of stress for the reptile) . I'm not sure how this is even legal considering we just got a new reptile shop and petsmart is continuously pushing out reptiles like kids toys. I hear the actual vetanarians here are amazing but the receptionist and people on the emergency lines have no care. This has left me and the reptile community very stressed and helpless. I don't even buy reptiles I rescue. Shame on this place honestly. Don't give them your time unless it's a dire emergency. I got my cat neutered here years ago thru upaws and when I brought him in and stood there (I thought they would ask me if I had any questions or concerns) they seriously looked at me and told me "you can go now" I had the utmost anxiety leaving my little kitten there and I havnt been back since, only to call and get advice but apparently they're not aloud to do that. I know animal medicine is one of the hardest demanding jobs out there but why do your receptionists have to act like us reptile keepers are a waste of space.. Not impressed and I will keep fighting for reptiles, this isn't fair to those without a voice. STOP BUYING REPTILES.

Our pet was having a medical emergency while we were on vacation. The staff not only made time for our dog but also offered all levels of assistance to accommodate his limits. There is a level of love and support here that goes beyond all expectations

Today was a hard day. We had to say goodbye to our family member, Bella, and though we had never been to Northern Veterinary Associates they made us feel like family. They explained the process as this was our first time in this situation, along with making us very informed of the process and consoling us through the whole thing. Our Bella was very comfortable and cared for by everyone involved.

Staff is always super happy and helpful! Honey and I went in for a check up and vaccinations. Dr. Cannon and her assistant were so friendly,(calm and nice slow movements around my dog while clipping her nails and giving her the two shots) and my dog loved her! I received so much information about "treat options" for my overweight Golden Retriever. Thank you for another pleasant experience!

Thank you to the NVA staff for the care you gave our Brooklyn, during her final hours and over the years. We have brought our pets to NVA for many years, they always provide top notch care. Recently, our kitty Brooklyn fell very ill. The doctors working with her that day were very honest that if she did pull through, her quality of life would be poor. We made the unbearable decision to help her go peacefully. While they worked on Brooklyn that day ~ NVA was very good about keeping us updated on the measures being taken to help her, as well as caring and compassionate.
