“Above & Beyond expectations! Customer service could be their middle name. I arranged delivery of a pod - and got a text when there were near. The unit was dropped off exactly as I asked. The process was easy.
I ended up being one of those customers whose plans kept changing. And not once was I made to feel i was being a bother. That is rare! Once we were close to knowing when we wanted the unit picked up and moved to a new location all I needed was give them a call and it was arrange. And then when we decided over the weekend we wanted to switch the move from Monday to Tuesday that was no problem. And then when we wanted the final pick up day changed, that also was no problem.”

As of right now, I'm positively impressed. The rental process was very easy, and a very nice use of technology gave it a very modern touch, and the unit is very clean.
The only issue (and single reason for 4 stars) is that the perimeters security of the facility is very compromised. The fence (approximately 20 feet) is falling outward.
If this is fixed, I'll gladly update my review!”

“So I met Heather yesterday and we hit it off! She’s wonderful and I’m sad she’s leaving but today she was super helpful w the codes and doors. I’m glad she was there to assist! The place is clean and very nice. Thank you for the warm welcome.. yes Heather was great. However there were several people Living in their storage units. Couple times after hours I’d find people wandering around and pungent smells of pot. One guy was riding on a bike thru the place!!! And the elevator closest to my unit- moving out was a task- it had been out for quite a few days. Staff are helpful tho”

“I was in a desperate situation. thankfully national storage was there for me when I needed it the most. Diana was there to help me with my move in. And helped me when I picked the wrong size unit. And Diana got me int the right size unit and a very good price. I was able to get moved in to the new unit today with just enough room for everything. And make everything work out. And honestly these are the reasons why I chose national storage over all the storage companies around Grand rapids. Between the people who work for this company and the price. Plus you can dive into the building and get your stuff unloaded and in your storage unit and stay safe and dry from outside. Thank you National storage”

“I’ve had a storage unit with National Storage for the summer and had no complaints, clean, felt safe and everything went smoothly.
This time, I needed to downsize and saw the $1 first-month promo online. I called to ask about it, made a reservation with a friendly rep, but the link he sent showed a higher monthly price than what we discussed. ($71 vs $81 only a $10 difference but still) I called back and got a new link, but that one didn’t work. On the third call, I ended up doing the reservation over the phone and was charged much more than I expected. (Full price, no promo, administrative fee $96 vs $26)That’s when I was told the $1 promo was only for new customers, something no one mentioned until the third call.
What’s frustrating is that while signed into my account, I was still able to access the $1 promo online and could’ve booked it myself. But when I asked if I should just do it that way, I was told not to & that the manager would call me after realizing I was an existing customer and charge me the non-promotional rate anyway.
Also, they charge a $25 administrative fee every time you select a new unit, even if you’re already a customer. Nowhere on the website did it say the promo was only for new customers. (not that I could find) If I had known all this upfront, I would’ve made a different decision. I didn’t have time to keep going back and forth, so I just paid it.
Staff was friendly, but the lack of transparency around pricing and promos was disappointing. If you’re booking here, ask very specific questions or just book online and hope for the best.”

“This place was by far the easiest thing I experienced with dealing with a student in college. We had questions about the unit and they answered right away. We needed one on a pinch and the sign up was online and seamless. We did not need to meet with anyone or go through a bunch of paperwork. Just fill out an online form from their website and set up payment. Then we moved in at the time everything was approved. When it was time to move out, I emailed them and all set. I'll be sure to use them in the Spring when I move all my student's stuff back. Saves me a trip to move everything home and back for the summer.”
“Make sure you check out InnerSpace if you need a little extra storage in the Hudsonville area. Clean, organized, variety of storage sizes, high ceilings, 24/7 access to your unit, month-to-month rent (stop service when you need to)... you really need to look no further! Todd is great and easy to work with!”
