“Ive loved living in my rental on south street owned by South Street Properties for the past year and a half. The space is wonderful and huge. Its downtown location is incredibly convenient. The owner is super nice, accommodating, attentive to his properties and prompt to help with anything.The maintenance staff are amazing, extremely patient, helpful, and very timely. Things are always kept in great repair, but when something happens it’s always fixed quickly. The common areas inside and outside are well looked after and cleaned regularly. Everyone involved with south street properties has been wonderful to me and my kids. I feel very lucky to have found such a great place to live. My 2 bedroom apartment is huge (plus additional storage space) and the rent is extremely affordable, specially in this economy. I only wish I had my own washer and dryer, but we have shared coin operated units in my building that work great. The other tenants are quiet and nice. The building is quiet too. I have nothing but good things to say about South Street Properties.Overall I absolutely love living here!”

“Really nice place! You can tell the staff genuinely care about the tenants and are always really nice when you come into the leasing office. The parking lot and entrances are really lit up which makes you feel safe when coming in and out of the building and they have key fobs so that only tenants can get in and out. They provide parking stickers and guest parking too. For the price, this is a great place to live. Other areas charge more for less so I'm very pleased with Main Street Property and its management.”

“I was so happy to have been given Country Management's contact information from someone that I worked with. I could not have been happier! My apartment was spotless when I arrived. It had everything I could possibly have wanted from two different size coffee makers, assorted pots, pans and baking dishes, plenty of towels, hand soap, dish soap, and even a soft throw folded and on the sofa. I really only needed food and my own clothing. The furnishings were really nice looking and comfortable with two large TV's. The apartment was in a clean and safe neighborhood close to big store shopping. Jackie and Boz were quick to respond and the one time I had an issue with the furnace, it was repaired in less than 2 hours. They definitely treated me with integrity and respect. I would highly recommend them. I do wish I had taken photos.”

“My husband and I signed a year lease about a year ago, and actually ended up resigned for the unit we had originally wanted. The complex is very quiet, and we have some pretty nice and courteous neighbors as well. The place is usually pretty quiet and peaceful, so I think it’s easy for people to get startled when there are kids being kids and having fun or families having a get together or a little party but nothing out of the ordinary. Maintenance is amazing, and even though management is not onsite the communication is pretty good although it could be more prompt, I asked a question about some charges that were added to my account about a week ago and have not heard back yet. We love seeing all of the pets that live here and feel pretty secure all around. The kitchens are comically small and my biggest pain point are those slat blinds but it’s an easy work around. Overall very happy to have found this place especially for Kalamazoo!”

“I love my two bedroom apartment, wonderful view from the second story. The staff are just as friendly and welcoming. I’ve had maintenance staff enter my apartment and they did a fabulous job. Only complaint are the irresponsible dog owners not picking up after their dogs or them just being off leash running up to other people thankfully I’ve never been attacked but it’s still not safe having a random dog run up to you and the owner just yelling at the dog not doing anything.”

“I lived at 58 west from August-December and I think it’s important to note it was this year. They underwent new management and were bought by the paddocks just before a couple of months before I moved in. My roommate and I loved living here. Management was very easy to communicate with and any issues with the apartment were dealt with in a timely manner. We felt very safe and there was a nightly patrol as well. This was a very good price compared to apartments near it! It’s not modern or new but it works and it was kept up very nicely.”
“Maegan was so great from start to finish! She was able to answer all of our questions and was so patient as we figured out what we wanted our of our apartment. We went and toured the model unit and though she was out of office, she made sure we were set up and ready for our trip to the west side. Maegan went the extra mile to call us ahead of time to let us know that Chris was handling our tour. We thought that was so kind and professional of her - Chris was great as well! Calls and emails from the office were returned in a timely manner. The property itself was well kept and the grounds were spotless. Excited to make this our future home!”
