“avolio is primarily a teaching facility. They do have a small shop with completed artworks for sale, which was very nice. But I was very impressed with the teaching program they offer. I'm hoping I get back to Kalamazoo sometime in the next year so to take advantage of some refresher instruction and studio time.”

Opportunities abound for exhibiting through their Art Hop program, and several grants are offered each year. These kinds of opportunities are rare! “This store makes me happy. When my sister comes from Columbus, OH. we always stop in to explore. Local art by local people and many other fun things. Make sure you find the fairy door and leave some words in the journal or a trinket for the fairies.”
