Ordered online brake pads first I walk in a guy behind me they ask the guy what he needs first first as I stand there and they wait on him and I stand there. I get pads drive home wrong parts so next day return wrong pads they never credited my card with money back! Contact autozone they request return receipt still no refund. I use to respect this company but here we are wrong parts,wasted time, gas list goes on. It will be a very long time before I spend a dime here. Maybe they're amused insulting women pads a inch difference in size no refund in 2024 no reason for refund not to be immediate no reason to wait on man before a woman should be first come first served

Review:
As a visitor from Texas, I recently had an interesting experience at the AutoZone located at 6550 W Main St in Kalamazoo. I needed my check engine light evaluated and initially approached Keith C. in the cashier area. Unfortunately, he completely ignored me, making eye contact. I even asked if I was in the wrong line, but he offered no response.
Frustrated, I sent my wife to the parts area where we met Tom B. He was the complete opposite of Keith C., providing excellent customer service and professionalism. He quickly helped us with the check engine light evaluation and turned our experience around.
While I appreciate Tom B.'s assistance, I was very disappointed by Keith C.'s rudeness and lack of customer service. It's unacceptable to ignore customers and make them feel unwelcome.
Overall:
This AutoZone location has the potential to be great, but the inconsistency in customer service is a concern. If you visit this store, hopefully you'll be assisted by someone like Tom B. who understands the importance of treating customers with respect.

Stopped in to drop of a used battery for store credit. Walked up to the nearest counter and waited patiently while several others who came in after me were helped and I was never once acknowledged that I was even there. Same store I usually buy my parts from. Will never return.

THE most disrespectful people I have ever encountered.
Two weeks ago we had to get a new caliper, not only was I told the incorrect prices on the phone, but they were annoyed as all get out when we came in to get it. Then we returned the old caliper to get the $25 back. They never gave us a receipt. Never told us to put our card in the machine. Just told us it would be refunded. It’s been 10 days and no refund. So I call to ask, and the women that answered was the rudest person imaginable. Telling me I’m wrong and lying, telling me there’s “no way” we weren’t given a receipt for the return. Telling them we were in the wrong. And when I made one comment, she proceeds to call me rude and laugh at me …. I didn’t even do anything wrong. I was simply stating what happened on our end.
The funny thing is, when we went to return the caliper, we were told by several people to be careful because they’d try to swindle us and not return the money … I stuck up for auto zone and said “no way they’d do that. They’ll return the code price” … ha. Should have listened.
This place is a sham and these people need to go get a dang massage or something and chill the eff out. Absolutely disgusting behavior.

Huge shout-out to Clark B who went more above and beyond than I have ever seen a service fessional go!!!!
My battery died in the Meijer parking lot adjacent to AutoZone. I got over to AutoZone and Clark came all the way over to my car in the next parking lot over to see the correct battery I needed so that I wouldn't buy the wrong one. He then helped me install it where the next level comes in... (This would have already been a 5 star, crazy customer service!)
Clark went to install my battery for me and noticed that one port was corrupted beyond repair. He sold me the new port, installed the port, and installed the battery all the way to get my car running again ? he mentioned a coworker of his tightened my air intake too, THANK YOU TOO SIR, sorry I did not get his name.
I do want to reiterate 10000 times, Clark B saves the day and not only represented AutoZone to the max today, but also is just a great person and maybe a guardian angel. Cheers AutoZone for employing such a professional! THANK YOU!

They honestly are the worst. The worst parts, products and most of their staff are underpaid and brain dead. I ask for my parts by name or part number and they still struggle to sell me anything more than a windshield wiper.

Clark Bethka assisted me and was helpful and knowledgeable about my car issues. He even went out of his way to help replace my key fob battery and clean my jammed hood hinge. Very nice people working here.

Parts manager Nick T at West Main autozone was one of the worst autozone employees i’ve ever met. He was very rude, had no idea of anything but what was on his computer screen. I am officially done with all autozone stores. Great Job Nick T! Autzone should look into their managers a little harder.

I am not normally one to leave reviews, but I have to give a shout out to Carlos! I had some questions about the detailing product I had selected, and Carlos helped me select different product that better suited my needs and saved me money in the process! I just finished detailing my car using his recommended products and I am amazed at the results! If you want great product recommendations, talk to Carlos!

Rodney cleaned up all the corrosion on my battery and make it look as good as new, and didn’t charge a thing. And the weather was windy, chilly and raining a bit. He was friendly and super helpful!

Auto Zone West Main sets the bar for customer service! They went above & beyond to assist me today with a dead battery in a neighboring parking lot. Didn't have to, usually can't, but today they didn't hesitate to make my situation the least stressful. Thank you Nic, thank you Aaron!
