This room is so nice I wish I could live here. Enjoyed a wonderful stay. And the spa and pool indoors is a great welcome after a long day of running errands or sightseeing.

We had a family get together and stayed at this hotel. Lina was the front desk person and was the friendliness young lady. I can't tell you when I've had a better experience all round. Thank you Lina for taking care of us. We'll be back to see you!!

What a disappointing experience. When we arrived, early around noon, Nats, the person at the front desk was anything but welcoming. She was sitting at the desk on her phone. No smile or nice welcome. Without even asking our names to check on our reservation, she said "check in is at 3:00 pm." I let her know that I was a diamond member, and then she said 2:00 pm. She finally asked for my ID, I guess to check something, we don't know what.We went to the lobby and played cards. About 2:30, I went to the desk and checked in. Again, Nats was sitting at the desk on her phone. I had the impression she wasn't thrilled to have to check us in, and again, no smile. She is really someone, in my opinion, should not be working with the public. When we went to the room. Immediately, we noticed the room floor had a serious slope from the living area and the bedroom. The slope was so steep that it seemed to me to be a significant structural issue. The sofa sleeper was so bad you could not sit on it without sinking in, and it slopped, too. I went back to the front desk and told Nats we could not stay in that room. She offered replacement rooms but only queen beds. We declined and left this hotel. This hotel should not be a Plus hotel. The front desk service and the rooms don't support what I think of as a Plus level Best Western.

I expected more out of this hotel. We stayed for 5 days, we had to fly in from out of state to handle my brother in laws estate. We are both from the area but have not been here in 25 yrs. The first room we were given was ok but when I walked into the bathroom the grout on the floor broke up and there were chunks everywhere. I tried to call the front desk but the phone did not work. I went down the scary squeaky elevator and Lina was the only one there. She was very nice and kind and gave us a room next door to the 1st room. We moved our luggage and the 2nd room seemed just okay....not real clean but ok. My husband went into the bathroom and found the toilet seat hanging off the stool. Lina was next door taking pictures so I told her. She suggested we bring our luggage back to the lobby and she would find us another room. We were given another room on the 3rd floor. It was not clean at all! But we were exhausted from a day of travel and at least the bed was clean. We both refused to shower as there was dried soap scum running down the wall, pink mold, someones hair, water spots on the mirror, just not clean! The floors were sticky. When we went to breakfast the next morning I voiced my concerns to the gentleman at the front desk. The bathroom needed a through cleaning and the floor, counters and mirrors were dirty and needed to be cleaned. He assured me it would be taken care of by the time we returned later that day. Things were sort of taken care of but certainly not how I like things cleaned. The next day I had one of the housekeepers come in and wipe up several things that were missed. The breakfast was edible but certainly not good as described by other reviewers! By day three I could not bare to eat it another day and opted for an English muffin only. So yes we endured this place for 5 nights. I will never stay in another Best Western hotel!!

I checked in with Linda and she was amazing. Very nice and professional. Rooms where a little dated but no bugs in my room. Pool and hot tub was operating. Alot of restaurants near by. Even had laundry for guest to use, which was my main reason for booking. Breakfast was OK. Sausage gray, eggs Sausage Oatmeal waffles much like other hotels. The reason for 3 stars is the breakfast attendant said something racist to me about some kids and it made me very uncomfortable. Upon checking out I brought it to Linda's attention and she apologized immediately and said they do not tolerate that and that it would get handled. Other than that interaction it was a nice stay. UPDATE: was supposed to get a call from the manager but that never happened

Not exactly 5 stars, but it's much better than where I was previously staying when I came to Michigan to work. So far, so good. My only complaint is that the bed is hard a rock, and I can hear the people above me walking around. After 2 days, I've noticed-They do need to do some updating, like the USB plugs/ back lighting like most hotels. The lights available are very dim. I did have to go buy a plug for my tub to take a bath. I allowed housekeeping to change towels was only given one wash cloth no more essentials were left in room like coffee or soaps.Food & drinks: Lots of choices

Don't expect your room to get clean no matter how many days you are staying. There is only one person on staff on a busy weekend. We stayed three days and had to go to the front desk if we needed anything. You have to request any kind of service from day to day and go to the front desk for replenishments of toilet paper, towels or etc. you may need on a regular basis. Our room took a lot of effort to close, our first day the door was unlocked when we arrived late in the evening. We told the employee and it wasn't fixed during our stay... It's a shame because the rooms are actually pretty nice.Rooms: Nice and clean when you get there but you do have to request any kind of room service or we supplies. On a daily basis.Safety: Double check your door when you walk out or when you close it on arrival. Our door would not close automatically. We had to mess with the door handle and push pretty hard in order to get it to lock. It was a struggle to get the deadbolt on as well.Food & drinks: Lots of fast food nearby across the highway and some decent non-chain restaurants nearby as well. All within 5 minutes. Drive time if that's.

We are staying here for 10 nights and my husband is a rewards member and we checkin after driving for 2.5 hours and the front desk person refused to even give us water (which is usually complimentary for rewards members) Please avoid the place. The carpet smells musty and just poor customer service!

I got a weird room by the elevator. The door was not big enough for the frame and there was a gap at the top which made the room loud when other guests came and went. The door to the bathroom was a firedoor and wouldnt stay open. Average price did not reflect the poor quality.
