Very happy with the service I received, the guidance from Joye and the quality of the furniture that is now in my house. I purchased a couch, chair and ottoman as well as a king size bed. Delivery was equally as professional and timely. I purchased a couch from Ethan Allen over 20 years ago that is still in my home. The quality of it far exceeds any other furniture that I have purchased from other stores.

I think the furniture quality and choices of materials and styles are great. I had difficulty choosing fabric because there were amber colored ceiling light shades. The room was darker because of this, especially the corners of the room. In fact, the only well lit area was in the very center of the fabric table directly below the ceiling lights.
I mentioned this before I ordered and the designer and I took fabric samples near the windows. We both narrowed the selection down to 2 fabrics and then agreed that the darker of the 2 was the best choice.
After that we looked at coffee tables and end tables for awhile. I told her that I would like to go ahead and order the matching chairs that day. Unfortunately, the designer wrote the wrong fabric on the order form. I signed the form, trusting that she remembered that the darker of the two fabrics was the correct fabric. At the same time, I ordered a swatch of the chair fabric.
The chair fabric swatch arrived at our house about a week later. I immediately knew that it was the wrong fabric. It was the lighter of the 2 fabrics, not the one that was more of a medium linen color. The next day I drove to the store and told them. I asked if they could correct the mistake, but was I told that it was too late. The chairs were already in production and I had signed the order form.
The next time I went to the store, I noticed that the ceiling lights had been changed to white ones. I have the matching chairs at our house now and am disappointed with the color.
I did order the coffee and end tables and am happy with those.
The designer and I both should have double checked the physical fabric samples, color names, and numbers. I feel that this should be standard practice for all of the designers at all stores to prevent these mistakes.
Also, I really feel that something could have been done when I went back to the store just a week later, especially since I had ordered 2 matching chairs. An effort could and should have been made.

We purchased the Spencer sectional with leather upholstery. It’s comfortable and beautiful in our room! Ethan Allen still makes quality furniture that seems to be so hard to find anymore.

We are extremely pleased with the quality of our living and dining room furniture along with the design and delivery service. Dee Gwiazdowski is a design consultant at the Kalamazoo store and did an excellent job coordinating the patterns and layout.

Helpful, no pressure, staff will walk you through the store and talk to you about all the options. This includes recommendations of size, color, functionality, and customizability.
This was our first time in, and it resulted in a +$7k couch purchase that was not 100% planned. They sold their value and found the perfect solution for our needs.
Side note: different sections of the store are staged with themed rooms that help visually represent how pieces can come together. This can provide a springboard for what will work for your home decor.

Best experience choosing fabric for my new chair! All due to my designer Amy Elliott who really listened to my thoughts and directed me to the appropriate selections. After that, it was a snap! We took a risk with the fabric selection and it paid off, the chair really enhances our livingroom. Thanks for your confidence in my choice, Amy!

Very nice high-end furniture store. I am giving it a 5 star although most of the furniture isn't my style because drive is different. I'm more of a mid century modern style person but theirs are very nice and very well made. The staff are nice too and let you browse without bothering you.
