Director of the entire office called to cancel our intake appointment 21 minutes before she was supposed to be at our house. Several issues with the caregivers. I could elaborate but I don't have all day. Trust a former professional mystery shopper, business coach, and caregiver/house manager, I would not hire them to care for your loved one.

I truly appreciate choosing Home Sweet Home as my care provider. They try their hardest to satisfy their client. There are times when a caregiver does not do a good job. But Tj and Bree will go out of their way ,self sacrificing their time and effort to find another, making sure I am care for. They always have a listening ear to hear me out. Some time they go beyond. To always keep a smile on my face. Wanting their client to be happy and satisfied. Thank you!

We had such high hopes for this company. Their reviews seems fantastic. One of the caregivers we had was a great companion for our family member. However, the leadership, communication and professionalism from management was NOT great. Bre and TJ run the portage office and both do not communicate together or to their staff appropriately. So this left MANY times that things were not how they should have been. When Jen came to our house for the initial visit she assured us that the company was large enough that even if our person called in we would have someone else there...that didn't happen. We were notified 5 minutes before they were set to arrive that no one was coming. Another time someone showed up over an hour early at 6:00 in the morning. The daily list of to do's was not done 80% of the time. Most of the time house rules were ignored. When we were extremely frustrated I reached back out to Jen which she always said her door was open and left 5 messages and finally she called TJ to tell him "to take care of the issue" She refused to contact me because all she did was sign people up. Well that is different than she claims when coming into your home asking for your business and money. The communication between everyone was really terrible. Not impressed with their professionalism either. I would not recommend them. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because the caregiver we had was at least friendly and attentive to my family member, but if this was based on the business and management team they would get a ZERO!Overall we are extremely unhappy and will not be using them moving forward. Its a shame that it is so hard to find good care for family that needs it.

The best company I’ve ever worked for! The management is great, Bri especially! They not only care about their clients needs, but their employees needs as well! I love that I get a set schedule with the same clients so I can build a relationship with them! I have nothing but great things to say about Home Sweet Home - Kalamazoo!

I enjoy my job very much. Ive been placed with extremely good clients. Open communication and listening to their needs. And recieving great feed back from them on how they like me as a care giver. Making sure that their needs are met. Brings me much joy and taking pride in my job. I love helping my clients live full enriched lives.
