The Kalamazoo Valley Museum is a free museum with three floors full of amazing and interesting things to look at. It is interactive, with plenty to do including an energy exhibit, a giant globe, a planetarium, and an interactive room based on an architect series. Visitors can see Egyptian artifacts and a unique wall of old artifacts with tablets to learn more. There is also a Children's Landscape play area that is clean and enjoyed by young kids. The museum is absolutely gorgeous inside, extremely beautiful and clean. The staff are very friendly, nice, and happy to see visitors. It is a great free place to hang out with friends or alone, offering about two to four hours of activities. Some visitors note very short hours for the young kids play area and limited weekday hours overall, which can close soon after school ends. A squished penny machine is also available on site.
