I went in Friday and got a fill for an overlay, they guy that did my nails already had an attitude because I kept having to asking him to fix things that were common sense. He rushed through my set. 3 of my nails chipped by Saturday. Went in Saturday to get them fixed and by Monday another nail chipped off! I don’t live in Kalamazoo, I just went there for a wedding and I called and was told that I could not get a refund and they could fix them after I told him I don’t live there!! Mind you I never break my nails, or do heavy work, usually my nails last at least a month! Very unprofessional.
Update: i called today and he just kept saying “how can i help you” “how can i help you” i just hung up.

I have only been to Star Nail Salon twice and both visits were fantastic! The first time was with Lee and the second visit was with Steve. The salon is very clean, the massage chairs are great and they were both very attentive, professional, thorough and personable and did a great job on my pedicure. I am very happy and will definitely be back! 😎

This nail spa has very friendly staff which I have found lacking in other places. The young lady who did my pedicure listened to my requests such as having a light touch with the massage. I will definitely be back and refer my friends.

Can’t believe I’ve never left a review with this place , but I went here regularly for almost 7 years , after moving a little too far away I’ve unsuccessfully tried to find a nail salon equally as good. Whenever I am on this side of town I try to make time to go in and even after years of not going there - they still remember me and treat me with the same quality service as they always have. I’m very picky about my nails and they never disappoint !

My nail tech was completely rude and had no interest in cleaning up my cuticles, etc. during the leg massage she often opened her drawer to text and receive texts interrupting the experience, also closing the drawer with cellphone when a staff member walked by. She also talked on the cell phone via air buds. Completely ignored me whole time. Barely did basics while getting up and leaving me multiple times for no reason in the middle of pedicure. I said NO TIP! And told salon of my experience. I will never go back. The nail tech seemed to have cared less about doing her job.

We were looking for a nail salon for a group of 6 for pedicures while in town for a wedding and I am so glad we came here! I called a day ahead and they did a great job accommodating our large group to get our pedicures together. The service was great and the atmosphere of the salon was also very relaxing with spa music playing. I would be happy to come back next time I am in the area!
