All the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The doctor answered all my questions and you could tell he had reviewed my chart prior to my appointment.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. There's a decent selection of glasses to choose from in store, but apparently you can't change your mind once you choose a frame. I called to cancel a couple hours after my appointment and they said they can't cancel. I'm bummed about that, but I can get through 1 year with glasses I like but don't love. They said they can change frames, but can't outright cancel an order, which I don't really understand, but ok. Other than that one policy/workflow process issue, I was very happy with everyone there and won't hesitate to go back.

The experience was very welcoming, fast, and professional. I was immediately greeted and given paperwork to fill out, then lead back for some eye images to be taken, then had my eyes tested. I wasn’t waiting for more than 5min between any of the stages of the process, and I had interesting discussions related to eye anatomy and what prescription numbers mean with the knowledgeable Dr. Cieslinski.

Dr. was very kind, thorough and genuinely interested in your eye health and comfort.The team was equally as kind and helpful. I have 2 vision insurances at current and they took the time to run both to determine which would save me more. Also worked with me to ensure my lenses would be delivered on time as I'm moving and in a bit of a time crunch. Everyone was lovely- highly recommend!

My exam with the doctor was great. I was told that my exam was covered by insurance but I paid $39 because of pictures. I was not told that would be extra or given an option to decline the pictures for the extra cost. I picked out frames and wanted transition lenses. I was not told that there were cheaper options and I did not know because this is the first time I purchased glasses. I was told the price was $899 after insurance and I thought that was expensive but again I didn’t really know because I’ve never had glasses. I paid for them and then I was able to see the itemized bill. I went to my car and decided I wanted to buy glasses somewhere else because I was being overcharged. I went back in the store and told them I changed my mind but I was told that they couldn’t do anything to stop the order. I’ve never heard anything like that before. Mainly I’m disappointed because I feel like I was given the most expensive option not knowing that there were cheaper options before I paid. I will never buy from pearle vision again. I think you’ll make more money in the long run by treating people better and going over all the options not just picking the most expensive and letting people believe it’s the only option. Real success is having customers return for your service again. Not by ripping people off. I feel I was taken advantage of because I knew nothing about purchasing glasses. Thank you for teaching me a lesson I will not soon forget and for making my first experience owning glasses a horrible one.
