T he Dollar Tree located on 44th Street in Grand Rapids has to be the best to visit. The store seems to have items their other stores don't.

New crew, new managers store has been open for 2 months now and is not planning on closing.

A regrettable experience! 6-8 times over the last few weeks store has been inexplicably closed. This 52nd and Eastern location has had its share of issues over the last 4 years with staffing, product stocking, and lack of selection.
The store is smaller than other nearby Dollar Tree locations. Despite a smaller footprint management seems to have consistent trouble with reordering. Manager and staff blame "corporate," but these product availability issues are not observed at other Dollar Trees.
Until staffing and product availability are resolved this location is NOT recommended!

Dominique was such a nice cashier. She's so sweet and helpful! They truly make coming in there such a kind experience. She had such a long line and was by herself and handled it with so much grace and humor! She's absolutely adorable and must be protected at all costs ! Their craft section was super stocked and I totally took the opportunity to get tons of great paint ! Great location

My phone was stolen at this location yesterday and I truly believe it may have been one of the employees or they know something. When I asked about having camera footage pulled they lied about not having cameras in the store. It seemed to me that they hardly wanted to help when I addressed the issue which made me a bit suspicious as I’ve went out of my way to help others do the same before working in customer service. Their nonchalant behavior towards my concern left a bad taste in my mouth. And to add, this is the same dollar tree that an employee tried to short me 5$ last week until I said something. He laughed it off but who knows maybe the people here just aren’t that honest. However there were different employees there at the time my phone was stolen. Either way, I will never come back to this location and I’ll be filing a police report to obtain camera footage.

I work for a nonprofit and once a month we have a huge order to fill. The store manager Dan is gem! He is helpful and so easy going about the experience that it makes my day!
