6 months post review - Still not complete. I used Lowe's services for a deck install that began in May of 2023. It has now been nearly 10 months and the deck is still unfinished. I have spent hours and hours and hours with various contacts within the local store as well as the corporate office and have not been able to get my deck install completed. Simply getting a parts order entered correctly and delivered has been a near-impossible task. The work the contractors did complete was not up to code and damaged various part of our house. It has been the single most insanely incompetent customer service experience of my entire life. Stay as far away from this group as humanly possible since full up front payment is required for jobs.

Lowes is a great store with helpful staff. Be sure to say Hi to Ruth at the contractor desk checkout weekdaymornings. I think a lot of people shop here just because she is so friendly and personal.

I went into the store on Friday 9/8 needing a new fridge Noah our sales associate was amazing. Unfortunately the home delivery people were beyond unhelpful! We went in on an urgent need as our fridge died we scheduled it for a delivery as soon as they could get out here which was Sunday the 10th. My time window was 12-4. I got the text on Saturday evening stating they would be here between 8:30-12:30. I had to change me plans to make sure I was home. 11:30 came and I had not received a call yet stating they were 30 mins out so I went online to check the status and it was now not showing delivery until Monday the 11th. I called the store and was placed on hold and after a while finally transferred the phone rang and rang and then disconnected. I had to call back a second time and explain once more the situation. I finally got transferred over to home delivery as was then told that my order did not make it on the truck today. So now I am left with no fridge. They gave me a $200 credit and I asked them to put it back on my card. The order was split and we used 2 different cards and I was told they could only put the credit on one card which was fine I wanted it on my card and then I was told no it could only be credited back on the other, which causes more inconvenience for me to try to get half back. When I told him I can give the other full card number I was basically told I could take the $200 back on the one card or he could cancel my entire order. The customer service I received was beyond poor and I will never shop at Lowe’s again due to this!

Two signed flooring contracts done by manager Christopher Lucchese at the store and anything that could go wrong has gone wrong. Sad to report that both have been serious breach of contract and both breaches done knowing and intentially. As normal with Lowes flooring contracts require material&labor paid in full prior by customer. I am 100% disabled vet so not sure who they wont exploit after observing the stores M.O. I have been a victim of theft, fraud, and even false known marketing under this store 1517 and its leadership and said all falls under civil matter. First contract was for 687 sq ft of carpet signed contract back in 04/19/2022 and nothing has been done to date. Refund Adjustment made to contract on 6/10/2022 however since 01/29/2023 nothing has ever been applied or credited even on that adjustment made for over $400 on the full payment of $2518. I wasnt told until 11/15/22 they cancelled the contract unknown by me and even stated the supporting evidence such was done over the phone with no record, unknown date and time or any rational support provided to make such false statement. That itself is a breach of the contract. I am now stuck with 70% of house already carpeted prior and with this breach 30% of house carpet is mis match as Lowes exclusive product and our goal was same carpet throughout. Valuable lesson learn big box stores like this can operate without transparency, integrity, or any accountability. Over a dozen calls no call backs no attempts to contact me, no attempts to answer needed questions, or provide any rational support for such actions. Second contract 08/19/2022 was 14k for over 1,000 sq ft vinyl plank, base boards ect....Installation error sound barrier underlyment not installed and Lowes response throughout the whole system was deny, lie, and pretend such barrier is already attached to vinyl and the additional underlyment is not needed. Advised return the 9 boxes of new material that was never installed for a refund. Problem no sound barrier is attached to the smart core vinyl product and fix calls for entire floor to be ripped back up so such can be installed all facts and direct from manufacture as its smart core Lowes exclusive product and states the facts on Lowes website. Further problem all base boards and labor paid in full and written in contract but never provided or installed. (Theft) I have thousands of dollars of paid material and labor never provided or installed and that is theft without question. I have experience fraud, theft by a billion dollar international company and to date no one from the store will reach out or attempt to fix the mess they caused. When I call for assistance nothing on system shows and told they need a few days to sort it out and then I hear nothing. Attempted in store return but given only a number to call IST who does the same actions. I have sent 2 legal demand letters after all this and still no responses. I paid to have four appliances moved for installation to be done and that was not even provided. All written in contract and paid in full. Installation team was at location for a week trying to redo a bad install job done by them and on phone with Earl for hours from the store attempting to get needed materials already paid for delivered and appliance mover to location and nothing was done, nothing has been done to date. I have lost use of my property for months now, faulty install resulted in property damage along with personal injury and Lowes hides in the shadows provides no transparency and refused to provide required information, answer any questions on what did or did not occur. I am forced to use arbitration as contracts from Lowes prevents legal pursuits i.e. trials, jury outside its arbitration proceedings to cover such a mess. What a joke and zero accountability. Huge lesson learned and had no idea and never saw this irrational nonsense could be done by such a large company. I further attempted to notify corporate as I think its employee theft going on at my expense but refused to speak to anyone outside this store or installat

Totally inept people. I ordered a mantle for my fireplace. Estimated delivery in two weeks. A month later the manufacturer (nice people) tells me they shipped it to Lowe's. Two weeks ago! They also said Lowe's is difficult to deal with. Called Lowe's AGAIN. They haven't received it! I canceled my order. By the way the manufacturer noted to have it delivered to your door NOT lowes.

They have terrible customer service and do not do their curbside accurately. twice now I have ordered something in the morning that was supposed to be ready in the afternoon, and it was not ready. I've had to go in and get the items off the shelf. while the employees stood around watching me. I was clearly struggling lifting my items into my cart. I asked for help and they said they were unable to get anyone to help...there were 3 employees standing around doing absolutely nothing.

I bought a house a year ago. I bought a brand new refrigerator, freezer, oven, dishwasher- all brand new from Lowe's. The freezer stopped working 7 months later. Today, my oven stopped working! 2500$, all day on the phone trying to get a Solution. Why? Who is in charge of Quality control of the appliances? I am done with Lowe's

I've had a Lowe's card since June of 2000...and I'm considering cutting it up. The service at the Kentwood store is atrocious...not the standard I've come to expect from this company. We moved here 4 months ago so I have been visiting frequently, and every department seems to be a train wreck. And it's not about COVID adjustments...it's the people. Very unfriendly and seemingly very unfamiliar with their job. Today I was told to be sure and clean the water tank from the carpet cleaner in order to avoid a charge. Upon returning it, a different person Andre, starts going through it with a whole different set of rules...this o ring is dirty...you need to clean under here...you'll need to take it home and hook a hose up to this... He was rude and dismissive. After going to a different area (this was customer service I was having the issue with) no one arrived for 10 minutes so I left. Booooo Lowe's in Kentwood....you're a poorly run store....

I purchased a grill online for store pickup. Online they offered free assembly with the purchase. When I picked up the item I was told assembly is done through a third party vendor and they were not doing that right now. I called customer service to see if they would do a partial refund to cover my time for something they offered to me during the purchase and didn't provide. I was told they could not offer me anything for a service that was included in my purchase. If you are expecting your purchase to be assembled by Lowe's, think again. Also, their curb side pickup is an unorganized mess. You are given no instructions on how to pick up your item. There is a severe disconnect with corporate Lowe's and their individual stores. I shop Lowe's on a regular basis but will certainly be giving Home Depot and our local hardware stores more business in the future.

Went for online order. Social distancing poorly implemented with workers hovering over you at times and one at cash register openly coughing in and out of sleeve.
