I usually have no complaints when it comes to Monro Auto Service, but since the last location I went to that's closer to where I live had a significant employee turnover, I had little choice especially since I had to rely on my Drive card for my repairs. The Monro I went to shows me the problem I had which was a slow oil leak, that itself was clear was a problem. But with new employees at both the shop I usually go to and the one I ended up going to also had some new employees. They were helpful for the most part, but I'm still skeptical about specific issues being 100% fixed because I chose not to go to a Dealership service. The cost estimate was confusing because in the beginning, it went from $750 down to roughly $650 for an oil cooler replacement and manifold gasket replacement all including the cost of the parts and labor. In the future, if I wasn't so strapped for funds to cover the costs and didn't have to rely on my Drive Card, I would've gone to a certified dealership service center, because I'm not sure if I even had OEM parts installed vs. aftermarket ( cheaper?). Overall not terrible service when it comes to them, but maybe it varies on which Monro Auto Service you go to get work done in a more timely, transparent manner.

I took my car there a year ago in July, when I had stalling and check engine light problems with my car.I had to have sensors etc replaced and my bill was quite high.Almost a year later I started having the same problems again.This time I went to the dealership.Come to find out Monro DIDN'T use certified parts on my car.They were aftermarket parts which failed.I had it done correctly at the dealership,for a much lower reasonable cost.Monro NEVER informed me that they were using aftermarket parts!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!

A follow up to my previous review. I just brought my wife's car in the get a nail hole fixed in one of her tires and the Discount Tire I brought it to informed me that the front passenger size tire, Which was replaced my Monro, was 2 inches to small. It wasn't the write size for the car. I had to buy another tire.(Edit/Addition) After speaking with customer service, as they instructed in their response to this review, I was refunded a prorated charge for the tire. Meaning, based on how much I've driven on the tire, they were only refunding me for the tread that was still left on the tire. This amounts to about $20. Wouldn't you just give the full refund?In addition, I mentioned that Discount Tire had informed me that the incorrect tire size that Monro put on was the primary reason that my other tires wore inconsistently. This resulted in me having to purchase 4 new tires for my car last week. When I asked Monro's customer service department what they could refund me for that, they responded with a firm refusal. I then repeated myself to the customer service rep "So you're telling me that your mistake of putting the wrong size tire on my car that resulted in damaging my other tires, which I had to pay to replace out of my own pocket, you are refusing to cover?" They responded with a "Yes".Just a poor customer experience. Just the amount of time, hassle, and calls I've had to make just to get this discussed was ridiculous.I'm never going to Monro again.

Best service I have ever received. From the front desk to the mechanics and even the young man that dropped us off at our hotel.. We were 100+ miles from home and stranded. Would recommend them to anyone. Thank You Jeremy!!!

Gave me a relatively low quote on the phone, only to have it be $60 more when I went to the shop. They then said they couldn't fix it at all cuz there were other issues that needed to be addressed first, and would do it for it an additional $1400. These parts are non issues on my vehicle, and were simply thrown on in an attempt to get more money from me. Then they charged $70 for the inspection. For a repair they couldn't do. Terrible place of business. I would not recommend anyone go there. If you get a low quote from them, it's because they're a low-quality business.

DO NOT GO HERE ! They charge just to get your car inspected which is $145. Definitely not worth it. They had my car for 4 days just to tell me it cost 2300 to get it fixed and to charge me just for looking at my car. I’ve heard horrible things about them they were just the only shop open and I really wanted my car checked out. Quality express down the street does FREE inspections. I highly recommend. Very disappointed in Monroe. Make sure you read and understand what you sign.

I hate to even give this place one star! I have come here quite a few times for a regular oil change and never had any problem until recently my son brought my car in for a special $30 oil change and FREE tire rotation. The bill was over $70! When he asked them why they said well it was for labor costs to rotate the tires. On their site it said it was FREE tire rotation. It did not say one word about extra labor costs. WHAT A SCAM! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. THEY'RE A BUNCH OF LIARS!!

The guys here were very professional and the price for mounting my tires was very reasonable. I'd go back again.I was back for wheel noise. They charged me $67 to inspect the vehicle. I was not too pleased by this, but didn't feel I had much choice. Not sure I'll actually have them do the work because of this.

Attempted to charge me $500 for brakes I did not need. After their quote I took my car to 2 other shops who cleared my car with zero issues. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I recommend this place to anyone looking for an honest and knowledgeable automotive repair technician. I have brought vehicles to Monro for several year’s for oil changes. They diagnose any potential problems with my vehicles. They provide a written explanation and instead of insisting to perform the service, give me the information to provide to assist me with getting it fixed by someone I choose.Love the integrity that is not often experienced when needing a vehicle repaired. Highly recommend!Thank you

My son and I both service our cars with Monro. Their service technicians are always kind, polite quick and efficient. They are knowledgeable and they do great work. We've never had a problem with them. We trust them to take good care of our cars. Their service is top-knotch.

Hank and the young lady at the desk were so helpful and nice. They told me it would take 30-45 min and it was done in like 20 min. I've already told a friend about them and how nice and helpful they were!!!

I’ve had my car serviced with them a few times and they are great. Repair shops can be a little condescending towards young women and not once were they like that with me. I appreciate their work and kindness so much!

After having a bad experience with another mechanic, I towed my car to Monroe. Hank and Craig ( I think thats his name) were so helpful and honest. Gave me multiple option in different price ranges to fix the problem and gave me good advice as well.
