Wednesday is senior day. They also have points you can win if you use your phone number. And therein is the rub. The cashiers have been TOLD not to ask for phone numbers. They have been TOLD not to ask if a person is a senior. They have been TOLD not to take it upon themselves to give a discount to an obvious senior. I don't live in Almont but do go thru there on occasion. I almost always stop in to pick up a couple of things and get something from their hot food counter. I think it is important to patronize local establishments. But, why should I when they make it a point to not patronize me (I am a senior) It will be only in an emergency that I ever shop there again.

Definitely need a shout out for groceries like this. In an age where people are having to make do with having dollar generals pop up on every other block we need to be very aware of the value of traditional grocery stores in rural areas.Vinckiers it's a solid example of this that carries just about everything that you could need. The deli is also able to do some nice cateringDon't be afraid to come here for your food needs

BBQ boneless chicken wings...... delicious!!!!! Fried chicken.....awesome!!!!! Cakes.... beautiful!!!! Great place to shop.......workers are so customer friendly!!!!!!

This is a great little local grocery. They have all the basics, a nice little deli (the ribs are to die for), a decent wine and liquor selection, produce and a bakery. This was a quick stop looking for paczki. Score! It was later in the evening, but I got a 4 pack of blueberry and lemon with glazed topping. The filling was excellent and generous. The dough was a little dry, but not a deal breaker- just get there earlier. All in all a real convenience store, complete with friendly staff.

We have been selective on our sausage, especially breakfast and polish sausage for the grill . We recently stretched outside the box and purchased the polish sausage made here at our local grocery. Wow! Lean, yet fatty enough for grilling! No big chunks of fat and bursting with a brat juicy flavor . Keep up the effort and don't grow too big to loose what matters!
