Visiting town for the weekend and needed a few things. Aisles were blocked with racks of things to restock, the two older ladies doing the restocking were whining away about people and how they weren’t staying late, etc. We tried to pass by them to get something at the end of the aisle and I make the comment “excuse us, we’re just wandering through” and the lady said to me, and my visibly physically impaired spouse, “well, wander a little faster.” Totally insensitive, the store was a mess, it reminded me of the old Value City junk stores when I was a kid. Thankfully, this was just a couple night stay in a rental in town and we had most everything we needed, therefore, no need to return.

Friendly staff always smile and are super helpful, far above average for your typical Dollar General location. I'm assuming they have great management.Store looks like any other typical location. rotainers on the way and in the process of being unpacked and stocked.They seem to have like others in the chain a variety of items, look for "dot" sales going on which are easily identified by different colors for the best savings. I've been told the mobile app has some great coupons as well although have not confirmed this.

Clean Store, friendly employees. The NEW remodel added more food products, produce, home decor & health & beauty aids. Check out is a little congested BUT the store is only so big. Happy Shopping!!!!

I do come in this ( the Lake George store ) store for emergencies only. I feel because of them 1 party store went out of business and how long before the other store goes under ?

Being a local and shopping at dollar general every single day. My husband and I went up to grab a box (not in the dumpster) and we always ask first. The manager came out with her phone (on the clock) recording us being so rude saying it's private property and talking to us like we were criminals. I understand her job and stuff but there was NO reason for her to be so rude about it. Like unbelievably rude. She could of came out and said just come in and ask for a box next time. But no. Never had an issue before and I've been going here for over 5 years. If you can't be kind do NOT have a job that you have to deal with people. Sharon maybe was her name. Not positive. Also, when we called up to the store to get the district managers name and number we were hung up on TWO times.
