Buddy's on the Beach is a casual dining and bowling spot on the beach of Jordan Lake in Lake Odessa. It is a fantastic gem and a great place with a fun family atmosphere and a lovely view. The service is consistently great, quick, and friendly. The food is amazing and very consistent, with large portions. The menu includes pizza, burgers, reubens, subs, fish fry, munchies, Mexican, wings, steak, pasta, and homemade desserts. Specific favorites are the cowboy burger, steak, and deep fried appetizers. There is a full bar with 20 beers on tap and many mixed drink options. The location has it all: a tiki bar on the roof, a beach for swimming, beach volleyball, sports on TVs, and bowling in the back. The bowling alley is outstanding with a vintage feeling. Bowling is $5 per game with shoe rental, or $35 per hour for a lane on weekends. It is a perfect spot for a party. This family smalltown setting is a favorite and a designated meeting place for many.
