This is what customer service should be!!
I just wanted to take a moment and recognize a particular employee from the Advance Auto Store in Lansing MI located on Larch St. On 07/31/24 I came into this store looking for a new battery for my vehicle. Upon walking in I was greeted by Dave an employee of Advanced. Dave advised he was willing to help me even though he was scheduled to end his work shift shortly. Throughout our conversation Dave was polite, professional, and patient in assisting me to make the best purchase decision for my vehicle. Dave took extra time to offer several different available battery options answering any and all question I had. Not once did Dave ever appear impatient, or frustrated in rushing me to make a decision even though his work day had now ended. Dave informed me this was his second job as he began his work day at 4am that morning, as he continued to show the same courtesy as the first customer of the day might receive. In my personal opinion I thought Dave did an absolutely outstanding job and is a true professional when it comes to what customer service and care should be. As a direct result of the customer service I received from Dave, I will continue to use Advanced Auto Parts as my go to in the future and I hope Dave receives the recognition he deserves as a great employee of this business, for the honest and respectful service he provided to me.
