Comfy atmosphere and fun layout make this an awesome addition to the B&N roster. They have a great selection of books, and anything they don't have in-store can usually be ordered within a reasonable amount of time. The staff is also fun and helpful.

Wow. Blown away by how amazing this store is.
Compared to the B&N over at the Lansing Mall, it is drastically different. It will take a minute to get used to this layout, but I honestly think it's way better than the layout at the other store.
The cafe is much larger, the seating options are much nicer throughout the store. Even the employees are much nicer.
I think this was the best choice B&N could've made. This is a much better location from West Lansing in a dying mall. Much closer to MSU as well, for college students.

They opened this fast! I had found out about it only like a week before it officially opened. Nice layout, a little too small and clustered of course but it's just cool to have it in a convenient area. The comic/graphic novel section is a little small but the sports section is the biggest I have seen and they sell some classic boxing books I haven't seen in years! Lots of baseball and wrestling books as well! The only drawback besides how cluster it is, naturally, because it just opened, is that it needs maybe another door because we always run into the people coming in and vice versa. But hey, small price to pay.

New store in the area, helped with the setup. Hope it does great. Great book store, Cafe and Music Dept. Great selection of books.

I really like the way everything is set up in this store. It can be a little confusing at first because it's very different from the Lansing mall store, but it feels very cozy and shut off from the outside world. Very nice to wander around in. I like the book selection, though I wouldn't expect to find anything niche here. The lighting is very warm, and even though it was pretty busy when I went, I never felt crowded. The cashiers were quick, and there were a lot of service members out on the floor so you could ask for help if you need it. I would expect that to change a little once the bookstore has been established for longer. I didn't go to the cafe, but there was a lot of seating. Overall, I will definitely come here again, and I'm very happy to have a new bookstore in my area.

Beautiful store, far better than the Barnes and Noble at the Lansing Mall. The selection and the staff are excellent. Very clean and contemporary ambiance. I look forward to returning.

Beautiful store… excited they had music… but the CDs were stuffed into a shelf…jam packed…. no order.. no way to thumb through them …. Could you at least put them in alphabetical order… or decide them into rock.. country… etc leave some space on the shelf to look through them… you can’t even reach the top shelves….. I really wanted to maybe find some favorites but it was impossible!
