Ordered a large quantity of fasteners and 2x4 for a commercial project. I needed it on short notice and they were able to deliver on time with no missing material. I will happily do business with Gilbert Lumber again, but I wish they had the convenience of being open until 5pm.

I wouldn't pay this guy money if his life depended on it. Came here once before and didn't think much of it but he was short then. I called today to see what time they close because it isn't four like shown on Google and he was rude for no reason at all. I was curious as another business owner why he was closing early and wondering if it was because of lack of employees, I was going to make sure and give him the business as a local. When I asked that question he told me he didn't feel he owed me an explanation, well I was only curious if we were in a similar struggle. I wish people would stop supporting all these businesses with rude horrible customer service. Its time to eliminate the problem. And apparently he doesn't need or appreciate the business.

Great lumber yard! I originally ordered lumber from Carter Lumber for a project I was working on. The lumber I received was unusable, so I sent it back. The lumber I got at Gilbert Lumber was high quality - straight and relatively few knots. I highly recommend this store. Buy local! You can give them your order and they will put it together for you. You don't have to sift through a bunch of low quality lumber to get the few boards that will work like you have to do at the big box stores.

Great customer service! I tried contacting a number of big box stores and other lumber yards to help me with a project that required purchasing, cutting and ripping a short piece of lumber. Gilbert was more than helpful and provided everything I needed. I will certainly return to Gilbert for other project needs.

I went there to get help with my pool deck design and get lumber for said deck. They were very helpful and knowledgable about size's and lengths i need. Very helpful. Will be going back soon for another project i am working on. Mike

Great experience. Small family ran business that goes out of their way to take care of the customer. I would use them again anytime.
