I have stayed in this area many times throughout the years. This hotel, by far, is the best. I am a very blue-collar kinda guy, but the staff treated me like I was one of business guests that is their normal clientele even though it was obvious that I was not. That, to me, means everything. Nobody ever wants to feel like they are out of their element. I look forward to booking here again!Nearby activities: Plenty of shopping and awesome restaurants within walking/short-drive distance!

Hotel seems nice at first glance, until you realize that the rooms are deprecated. Rusty shelving and peeling mirror backings aren't what I'd have expected from a $200/night hotel. Charging $10/night to park was also ridiculous.

Be careful when booking using a special rate, if you modify your stay they will increase your rate. I booked using the government rate and due to an unexpected itinerary change I had to come in a day early. I contacted the hotel to add the day and they changed the daily rate of all three days to a higher rate. They also charge $10.00 a day for self parking, this is East Lansing, MI not NYC.

Nice new hotel, and good location. I gave for stars because the internet is slow, and the keys were de-activated 3-4 times. Breakfast hours are conflicting. Based on the front desk 7-10 am, on the TV 7-9³⁰am. In reality, it is 7-9am.Rooms: Nice and spacious. We liked the design as well.

Thoroughly impressed with this hotel. Real plates, bowls, glasses and coffee mugs.Real half and half for the coffee. Parking structure attached and free.Multiple wedding groups were here, we all partied in the lobby, it was wonderful.

Hospitality was great, service was awesome. A special thanks to Mike Israel and Ashley Burns they really helped me out I was in a pinch for a place to stay with my kids and they made it happen. I highly recommend it. Prices were reasonable I hope this helps somebody else out. Like I mentioned very nice place to stay rooms are clean, staff were awesome. Definitely will be staying there again just to get out of the house. LOL ...by the way pool and workout room were great.

Outdated and lacking for a four-star.Shower water pressure was a pittance. No USB on the wall outlets (in 2023). The three prongs were so loose that chargers wanted to fall out. One of the lamps hanging over my bed was sagging and ready to fall off. Measly haphazard bar soap. On room entry, the fridge was left open clearly for several hours, so it was not cold.On checkout, there was nobody at the desk for 15 minutes. A line formed for people checking out and checking in.Otherwise, nice place.

If you or a family meme er are wheelchair users, please avoid this hotel. A friend of mine is wheelchair handicapped and asked for assistance getting her chair out so she could go to her already paid for room. Staff told her it wasn’t their job and if she needed help to call the police. Of course she didn’t know what to do so she slept in her car!!!! This is UNACCEPTABLE AND UNBELIEVABLE! You treat people like this and think it’s okay? What if she would have been assaulted while trying to get it out herself again? You not only humiliated someone for having a handicap but also showed that your employee have no heart. If I could give you a negative 5 I would

All around bad.Had a friend needing assistance to enter the facility after hours. With there only being 6 ADA parking spaces available (at a 120 room facility) she was required to park far from the entrance. Because it was after hours, the only way to notify the hotel of her arrival was via phone. Unfortunately, her calls went unanswered and no one came to help. After sleeping in her car she was able to contact the front desk in the morning hours as she just needed to shower before her morning meeting. To add insult to injury she was told they could not help her remove her wheelchair from the car (which she needs to enter the facility since the parking is so far due to limited spaces) because it’s a ‘liability’.A LIABILITY to remove a wheelchair from a car AT A HOTEL where a guest has paid to stay? As if that wasn’t troubling enough…they still charged her for the room!Shame on the hotel for limited accessibility.Shame on the night time staff for not doing their job and answering the phone.Shame on the morning manager/staff for not thinking of people before policy.Shame on whomever could have made her experience better at any point in time and instead did not.

If I could leave NO stars I would!!!The concierge refused to help a young handicap customer out of her car into her wheelchair so she slept in the parking structure ALL NIGHT!!! This is totally unacceptable, she was told for liability reasons they can’t help? What ever happened to compassion or just respect for other people!!! I will NEVER stay at this hotel and you should not either!!!
