I always love going to the Lansing Center: always so tastefully appointed. However, today, November 12, 2025, for the 30th Annual MiMTSS Conference, it was very chilly and I wore a shell underneath a lined Nike track suit. SEVERAL attendees commented on the uncomfortable chill. The second issue was that there was not the convenience of outlets present in the Main Hall or in the concourse. The ones in the concourse/hallway were spread out and inconvenient to attendees being in the Main Hall and needing to charge their devices. My device was fully charged upon arrival but needed recharging halfway through the day and I had to leave it charging at a vendor table and she kept an eye on it while I went back inside the Main Hall. Large charging stations inside the Main Hall or large power banks for the convenience of attendees would be super-helpful!

Friend lost a bag went to security, and was yelled at. Seemed to be angry that someone was even there.

Attending an after funeral fully catered dinner.
Everything seemed to be perfect, accommodating and smooth.
The children of the deceased reflected an especially keen sense of detail to the guests as well as compassion & consideration for the family and guests. Nice experience. To be expected. Have attended multiple events over past decades.

I did a walk around the area. Passes by the dump at the homless shelter. Not sur anyone knows what a trash can is for. Continued around the shuffle and the river walk and noticed no change from last year . The landscape compand removed plants that the bees were actively collecting stores for the winter months. Nothing has been planted yet to replace what was taken from the hungry girls.

They've got space for whatever you need to do. Bathrooms everywhere. Ample parking. Their food is decent. Nice views in certain areas. Lots of banquet rooms and concessions. I went to a conference there and it was nice.

Parking area is small and difficult to find. The only food options on site are very unhealthy and they refuse outside food to come in. There is no place to sit if you need to wait.

Great facility. Parking was easy and pretty inexpensive at $10 max for the day. Staff was nice. Food was pretty good.
