We paid cash entering for a sports tournament and they charged a convenience fee. Yes, a convenience fee on cash. Why is there a fee for cash? I understand on credit card processing, but not an additional $4 for cash. Can someone explain this?

My company hosted an anniversary party at the Lansing Center last night. Everyone who helped us to coordinate the event was helpful, friendly and professional. The servers, bar staff and security who worked the event were equally friendly and professional. Our event was a great success and I would highly recommend their services and event space to others.

We went to Grand River next to Lansing Center, we had the pleasure of watching the beautiful river, it was amazing. Then we walked down E Michigan Ave, which was decorated with flowers, until we came to the memorials related to the events of September 11. I took some pictures.I recommend visiting this wonderful place.

It's big, empty, and lacking in local interest or genuine amenities. If you go there it must be to attend some event. Your stay will be exactly as meaningful as that event.

At the center for the National Horseshoe Pitchers Association World Tournament. Great set-up! Very helpful staff for any hiccups associated with parking passes. Food Cafe available, which we'll probably try out sometime this week. Nice venue!

I enjoy every occasion I've had to visit the Lansing Center. Nice assortment of vendors on site and convenient proximity to downtown.

Could use modernization. Pros: centrally located, works. Cons. Infrastructure feels aged. Ugly carpets, would benefit from natural light. Worked otherwise.

I was there for a conference and the setup was ok, not great. There is no carpet on the show floor due to an outrageous cost and supposedly it is more "Green". Wifi was $40 a day for each connection. People who ran the place were nice and very professional.

There for an MPLP dinner. It is a nice venue, The food was good and time and space were ample for networking. But it was cold and the a acoustics were bad.

This place is nice, but bathroom smells like a sewer and lounge couches springs were sprung long ago. Time for a replacement. They zip-tied chairs together so larger people had no room at all. They ran out of food and coffee with hours to go before my conference ends and they have a 'no outside food' policy. They do have some nice displays of sports collections, photos, memorabilia and stories. Nice carpet. Nice windows. Nice location.
