We will NEVER step foot into Lowes again. Our experience since beginning to remodel our home and choosing Lowes has been nothing but a money losing nightmare.
We ordered external doors in September and they were FINALLY installed yesterday, 8 months later! They were supposed to be done within 2 months. There was problem after problem starting with them forgetting to order them to making the wrong size. The doors are now in and there is chipped paint throughout. At this point, we don't even care anymore as long as we don't have to deal with them again. We paid a lot of money for custom doors and it was an experience we never want to go through again. If need be, we'll definitely go elsewhere.
We bought a pallet of flooring and when we got through many boxes, we realized at least 16 boxes were the wrong product. The employee told us at the store that the entire pallet was the same and he checked it thoroughly. No, he did not. We couldn't finish our floor with hardwood because we only had the installers that day.
We won't even discuss the two times we had installers out and how one swore at us and left and how the other smelled like Marijuana as he just got done smoking before getting out of his van.
We bought all new appliances and when they delivered our fridge, they dented and scratched it in many places. I called lowes and they were gracious enough to offer me a $100 discount. I told them I wanted a replacement fridge and they told me it would cost me money for pick up and redelivery. After they damaged the one we bought, we have to pay? Unbelievable.
While receiving our appliances, the installer was going to just put it in our kitchen and leave. We asked if they were going to him them up and he said "oh, yeah, I guess". He was the one who smoked before coming into our home. He was also nice enough to leave all his garbage. We had to babysit him to make sure he completed his job that we paid for.
When the wrong door was delivered, the delivery person was nice enough to put the wood trim panels on our leather couch.
Lastly, the communication was non existent between lowes and ourselves. We've had to constantly call them to get updates. Numerous people stated they would call and let us know what's going on and we'd never hear from them. Very unprofessional and irritating after all we've already dealt with. They would tell us how sorry they were and how unacceptable it was, but they copied the same behavior. We're simply done with Lowes and regret choosing to spend so much money there.
The only good thing I can say is the final delivery guy was amazing. The final installers were amazing.

I like the store. Well lit and clean. My experience has been good with employees. I would give it 5 stars, but recently the corporate decision to eliminate certain products and reorganize is not well thought out.

I always find exactly what I am looking for even if it does take a little while. Always options and reasonable prices. Not a fan of the self- checkout but the staff are always willing to help if it's not too busy.

Trying to find another sump pump. Went to plumbing but they weren't there. Where are they? Oh of course they're over next to refrigerators?!? What! So if something isn't where it would make sense anymore check next to the refrigerators.
