Old Town General Store is a lovely place with a great staff that is very kind, super helpful, nice, and welcoming. It is the perfect place to shop small for a real piece of Michigan. The store has plenty to choose from, with a great selection of Michigan products and local made goods. Shoppers can find local frozen meats, a good wine selection, hats, sweaters, all kinds of little snacks, cutting boards, Lansing themed items, and nice gift baskets. Gifting is easy here, making it perfect for Christmas shopping. Visitors also recommend the delicious almond cookies, which are yummy with milk. The store is open quite frequently and conveniently located.
