I love the Brighton location, so I assumed I would like this one too. Instead, everything here was almost double the price. When I realized that, I decided to return most of what I bought only a few days earlier.
The same man who originally checked me out handled my return, and he was rude from the moment I walked in. His attitude was unpleasant, and he came across as honestly pretty slimy. A couple of days later, I bought the same amount and quality of items at the Brighton location for $45, while the items I returned here totaled $86.
This location felt dirtier, overpriced, and the customer service was noticeably worse. I’ll be sticking with the Brighton store from now on.

Terrible customer service!!!! Watch out for the heavyset blonde woman with all the tattoos! She'll treat you like crap and won't care at all that she did so!

Polite customer service. Problem is check the brands and clothing type. Some clothes are marked up from Walmart prices. Gently used and double the price. Word to self shop smarter

They do not accept clothes unless they are in totes with a lid which is super unrealistic for single mothers who don’t have help. There is zero way for me to carry a tote inside while also carrying my baby inside or pushing my baby inside in her stroller and they refuse to help with the totes. For a place that should want to help mothers they definitely do not. And when I walked in with a tj max Halloween bag full of clean laundered and folded clothing the male employee said great another one because no where is it advertised that the clothing needs to be in a tote with a lid. Extremely poor customer service and honestly way overpriced for used kids clothes.

Once upon a child-Lansing is great! If you want to sell clothes, shoes, books, and toys freshly launder all clothes, lay flat in a tote with a lid! 2 totes with lids per day. If you want to shop, they have a great selection of clothes, shoes, books, toys, and equipment! I have been selling and shopping at this store for a long time!! I absolutely love it. The staff members are very good people.

Watched an employee park in 20 minute parking and walk in either smoking or vaping…completely unacceptable around children’s clothes and items! Have had issues with them not looking through my totes, and the staff is generally VERY rude!

The products from people in the area are nice. However the customer service is lacking. An item was tagged $10 and when I attempted to check out he rang it for $20 and said someone had marked it wrong. Poor customer service in my opinion. The price should be what the tag said- an in house discrepancy is not the consumers problem. He should have honored what the tag was marked as. 😑

I just went in to buy and walked out with nothing. VERY expensive for used baby clothes. $5.50 for a pilled cotton Carter's sleeper when I can get them new for $8.00, seriously? I'll stick to Kid to Kid in Grand Rapids.

The man at this store is rude! They think you should just accept whatever they want to give you with no questions asked. Their lack of respect could be why they're trying to sell the business. I hope someone who can treat customers with respect will buy it!
