Personally my experience has been quite discouraging and horrible! I have been renting a storage unit for 1 year now I believe, and what prime storage does to show their gratitude for me sticking with them so long is continue to raise my rent what happens is I'll get an email out of nowhere saying my rent has been raised $70 per month I started out at a $60 unit and now I'm up to 120 plus $17 for insurance they provide supposedly. So am I very happy with my rent being raised after being loyal to them probably not. I don't understand if they appreciate somebody's business why they raised their rent right after they move in and continue to do it throughout other than that the two employees I know from the office were amazing people did nothing but try to help we needed it was out of their control the abuse the higher above due to their renters

We are currently LOCKED in the facility!!!! No one on site because they don’t open until 10. We were told they were sending someone but no one is here yet. The pin pad on the exit gate is frozen and they have the walked through gate chained with a lock. There’s always seems to be an issue with the gates. We haven’t even been here a year and our cost has doubled and now this.
We stopped here to get stuff needed for our Thanksgiving party today that starts at 1 and now are running super late. Melted ice and all in our car.

Clean but we were there for 13 months and they kept increasing the price. Quoted one price, then it was changed, then an increase and another increase. I would never do business with them again and I do not recommend them. Shady pricing.

Had a unit there for sometime. Over 1yr an Staff was helpful and kind. Move-in pricing is great, however it was a lil tough discovering pricing changing along the way, but it was still under their actual, so it wasn’t horrible, an still manageable as well as reasonable with cleanliness. I wish it was 24hr access coming in town later, but it was fine and also manageable ( for me.)
Most issues were handled asap as well.
Figured I have sometime to leave a review and I'd be pretty honest. An from what I've seen, known and experienced. 5stars my Lake L. Friends, you both earned it.

We have had a storage unit with Prime Storage Lansing located on Lake Lansing road since 2023. We have been very pleased with our unit. It was close to home and easily accessible. The gentlemen in the office were always very kind and helpful. We have recently emptied our unit , but will definitely use it in the future if we have the need. Thank you

I am very happy at this storage place. I’ve used it twice in the past. It is much closer to me and cleaner. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a place that they don’t want to go too far. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable also.
