The space that I was assigned for my vehicle was already occupied. The grounds were unkept and there were several other vehicles that appeared to have been vandalized.

It was easy to rent a storage unit from red dot. The one thing I have an issue with is that my storage unit had oil on the ground.

Appreciated the ease of getting things done online. Everything worked out as it should (ie, gate access, unit access). Unit was clean. Only thing that could use improvement is better signage for where units are located. Great experience overall.

Both of my vehicles has be either damaged or token my first vehicle was stolen out of the storage and now my other vehicle has been broken into now I am devastated and I’m tired it’s like I can’t catch a break do not put any vehicle in here plz

Stay far away from this place. Have been trying since November to get access to my moms storage unit after she passed. Sent in the paperwork several times with multiple phone calls, only to be told a different reason each time why I couldn’t access it. Now (March) I finally can after I pay over $800 plus late fees. The manager ‘call back within 24 hours’ is a joke. It’s clear they get off on taking advantage of people and tormenting me after losing both my parents.UPDATE: went to BBB website, apparently they are known for having unethical billing practices and denying gate entry.

Garbage all over the streets. Both machines in office are broken. Nobody to talk to in this state. The rejects you actually talk to argue when you call them. There was 6 inch step up to get stuff in the unit. And the door lock doesn’t go in the hole. It’s not properly lined up. And 2 hours after I moved in the rates went up. I have never seen such bad business policy’s. Yes they are cheap but you get what you pay for. I will be moving out as fast as I moved into the unit. Forgot to mention this is in Lansing Michigan

If I could give zero stars I would. Tried moving out back in December. Cleaned out storage unit and let the office know, they said everything was fine. I continued to get invoices all the way until May when I left in December. Called 3 separate times and when I called a 4th time was told there was no record of any of my other calls. On May 15th I finally got an email confirming my successful move out. Then just yesterday receive an invoice and lease agreement for a DIFFERENT unit that I DID NOT sign up for.Edit: this is the Red Dot storage on Bristol Road in Burton, MI.

The place looks like a Junkyard. I left my camper one night and I couldn’t sleep. Next day I moved the camper to a safe place. Please do not waste your money and risk your property. It’s horrible. And they charge me $15 regardless. Horrible

I went here after office hours to get storage and paid for it got a gate code and spent from 915 p.m. to 10 p.m. trying to use that gate code to get into the gate so I could unload my truck. It kept denighing entry. So I call the number on the door, well there is no one I can speak to after 7 p.m. so what do I do? Nothing I'm s.o.l. and have to pay for my truck rental again. If it wasn't already paid for I wouldn't be storing ny things there. There should always be someone you cab speak with. I mean come on you can't afford to gave 1 remote employee to answer and route emergency calls and you are that big of a company? That's definatly not great customer service.
