This moving company provided one of the worst experiences I have ever had. The movers:
Lost essential parts of my furniture (the feet of my loveseat).
Smoked marijuana during the job, specifically in the middle of the trip.
Locked themselves out of their own truck before completing the move into my new home.
Failed to transport all items, leaving furniture components behind and telling me to go retrieve them myself.
When I refused to pay until I could review an itemized invoice and speak to a supervisor about the poor service, the company unauthorizedly charged my card nearly $3,000 anyway.
This company demonstrates carelessness, lack of professionalism, and questionable business practices. If I could give negative stars, I would. I strongly recommend that anyone searching for reliable movers avoid this company.

If I could leave no stars I would. Let’s start with their late arrival, then upon arrival they drove into my neighbors lawn that was roped off as they were having concrete laid and the driver cracked the drain pipe. During the move they were very slow, not prepared, referencing YouTube on how to take down bed frames, unable to remove drawers and I had to show them. We moved literally down the street where during the unloading process they lost the hardware, scratched floors, banisters, walls, broke knobs and drawers. Again referencing YouTube for how to set up bed frames. Dragged a box spring across hardwood floors. At the end they tried to charge me extra for time. We settled on that NOT happening given they had to deal with the concrete contractors from the neighbors and they were unprepared. I paid the remaining balance. Randomly 2 months later they charged my credit card without authorization or notice an additional $600. It has been 3 weeks of me calling without ANY response from this company. This was a horrible experience without any professionalism used. You are better off grabbing some friends on the weekend then ever hiring this company.

1) GROSSLY OVERPRICED: I needed a senior move within the same zip code 3.8 miles away jn Macon, GA and was given an excessive quote of $3100.00 (see attached): former military here used to move every 2 years, I know I can book a long distance move across the country for less.
2) GROSSLY DISORGANISED: I received the quote 5 FULL DAYS AFTER THE PROMISED DATE, (see attached) it was due NLT COB on Friday August 28, 2025 and was received on Tuesday September 2, 2025.
VERG DISSAPOINTING E PERIENCE ACROSS THE BOARD, DO NOT RECOMMEND

Avoid This Moving Company – Especially the Union City, GA Location
I strongly advise against using this moving company. My experience with the Atlanta/Union City franchise was extremely disappointing. Several of my items were damaged or stolen during the move, including all of my Alexa devices, a large decorative picture, and two brand-new water hoses. Even worse, my television no longer works.
Each location operates as an independent franchise, and unfortunately, the owner at this branch has been completely unresponsive. Despite filing a claim for the missing and damaged items, I was told the issue would be resolved—but nothing was ever done. I am now pursuing legal action due to the lack of accountability.
Please be cautious and consider using a more reputable and trustworthy moving service.

CAUTION: The NY State franchise DAMAGES FURNITURE and they (and Corporate) DO NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS.
We purchased two related moves from this company. One move was from the Syracuse, NY area to South Carolina. This move damaged most of our furniture, which we were not aware of at the time as the movers placed our furniture in storage.
When the second set of movers (also employed by Two Men and a Truck) moved our belongings out of storage and to our new house a few miles away, these new movers pointed out that our furniture was never wrapped in plastic before it left NY (which is against company policy) and that it was damaged (which was apparent when it began being removed from storage). Packaging tape was even used to hold cabinet doors closed and damaged the furniture's finish. These movers were genuinely appalled at the state of our furniture and wrote up damage reports that day.
With most of our furniture gouged or scraped, we began reaching out to the Syracuse/Rochester/Buffalo franchise location in December 2024. We were consistently told that the operations manager would call us back, but that only happened after weeks of leaving messages.
Finally we received an email address to send photos of the damages and the damage report. We emailed everything on January 3, 2025. We didn’t hear from them. We called and emailed. They then said we’d hear back on March 10. March 10 came and went. In April the operations manager said he was escalating the issue to this general manager and again asked for the photos (which we promptly resent). We checked in again. That was over a month ago and we still have not heard anything. It is now mid-May.
We spent over $11k on this move. Meanwhile, the damages caused by their negligence (and documented by their own employees!) have not been addressed once in 5 months.

I would give zero stars if I could.
Corporate and our local franchise in RI have been terrible about resolving damage they caused to our belongings. They told us the contract we signed said we had to pay our invoice in full before they would reimburse us for the thousands of dollars of damage they caused, about 30% of our bill. So we paid and have since been ghosted by the manager Joshua Befumo.
Corporate has been unhelpful despite promising to make things right if the franchise didn't. Every time we call we get told corporate will reach out to the franchise on our behalf but we never get any updates and nothing has happened despite weeks passing. The franchise had all the documentation in Sept of the damage and replacement costs, had us re-send it in early March, and still nothing from them in April.
If only they put as much effort into their company's customer service as they do into their company retreat.

WARNING! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
They broke, scratched, and destroyed many pieces of furniture I had them move into my storage and did not notify me!
When I finally pulled all my furniture out of storage, I saw so many damaged items. Chris was the person I dealt with who promised the best service, and yet I was left with damaged items. They had the audacity to hide and not come clean when they had broken items and scratched many pieces while moving everything into the storage unit. How can a moving company damage so much furniture? They also did not reassemble any of the furniture pieces properly that were transported to different locations that were not to be stored in the storage unit.
I would not recommend anyone use this company! Not only are they overpriced by three times the market price, but they also damage your belongings. In the end, you will incur more losses by using this company. Save yourself some money, grief, and go with a moving company that has a better reputation with guaranteed customer satisfaction—not just something they write on their website or brochures, but proven by their online reviews and how they reimburse their customers when they make major mistakes like these. They should also ensure they charge reasonable prices for their service!

I would strongly recommend you do NOT use Two Men and a Truck. I'm not someone who leaves a lot of reviews, but I want to warn the public about this company. I contracted with this company to move objects from NJ to Fl. What you should know is that each location is a franchise and operates independently. So if there is an issue, each franchise will blame the other.
In my case, for a small move (2 crates), the company lost two valuable wall mirrors. The delivery franchise (Florida) claimed they never got the mirrors to deliver. The pick up franchise (NJ) claimed they never picked up the mirrors. This is even after the mirrors were listed on the inventory sheet.
I understand stuff happens, but when I contacted the pick up franchise, they insisted that they never picked up the mirrors even though I literally saw them put the mirrors on the truck. They will ignore you and/or not return phone calls if you have an issue with them.
Use them at your own peril.

I had a deeply frustrating experience with Two Men and a Truck that I feel compelled to share to warn others. I contacted Andrew at the company to schedule a large and complex move, clearly explaining the scope of work, including multiple stops. Andrew assured me the movers could handle it and provided a quote based on this.
On the day of the move, the movers called to confirm they were en route to the first of five locations. After completing the work at the second location, the movers informed me that they were too fatigued to complete the remaining stops. They explained this to their manager, who admitted that Andrew should not have scheduled the job this way. The manager suggested splitting the move into two jobs, which I reluctantly agreed to.
However, I was shocked when I was charged a much higher amount than expected, especially since only 1/3 of the job was completed. The movers informed me that I was also being charged for travel time, something Andrew failed to mention. I told them I would withhold payment until I could discuss this with a manager, but the company processed the payment before resolving the issue.
When I reached out to Andrew to express my concerns, he assured me that the total cost would still fall within the original quote. I found this hard to believe since the partial move had already consumed half of my budget. I escalated the issue to the manager, who confirmed the miscommunication but offered no resolution other than to schedule the second move—and, of course, charge me more money.
As a disabled veteran living on a fixed income, this situation has left me in a tough spot. Not only is my move incomplete, but I also can't afford to finish it, leaving me to sleep on the floor, which will undoubtedly worsen my health.
To make matters worse, I contacted the corporate branch about my experience and never received a follow-up. This lack of response makes me believe that they are just in it for the money, with little concern for customer satisfaction.
I'm not saying don't use Two Men and a Truck, but be aware of hidden fees, the potential for your move to be incomplete, and the lack of compensation when the company inconveniences you due to their errors. If you want to avoid stress, I recommend tripling your quote to get an accurate estimate.
I hope this review helps someone avoid the difficult situation I'm now facing.

I had the worst experience not only with the local two men and a truck franchise but also their corporate office. There was a complete miscommunication and miscalculation of fees and charges added on. I also experienced a horrible conversation with the local manager while discussing the situation of items moved that were not supposed to be moved and requested to be addressed. He verbally attacked me and then when I requested a response to my question he hung up on me. The corporate office was notified of the treatment and fiasco surrounding fraudulent charges and they did nothing to understand or resolve the issue satisfactorily. Instead they put all responsibility on me to resolve the issue with the local office that already mistreated me. Terrible business and awful customer service. I would rate them a 0 if I could.

I am not understanding some of the low ratings. Two Men and a Truck, specifically this team is absolutely amazing! From the first call to end of service, they were helpful, professional, polite, and made our tight timeline work. Price was extraordinarily economical. The service was spot on; on time, fast, and delivered superior service. I'll never use any other company to move now!

*This is for the Clarkston, MI location
Don’t do it!!! If I could go back in time and select another moving company I would. This was a complete disaster from start to finish! I hired them to move my things from my family home to an apartment down the street, and after loading all of belongings up in about 35 minutes, the movers got the truck stuck on my front lawn and were unable to get out. This led to them calling a tow truck which took around an hour and half to come. The truck wrecked my lawn and was sitting on our in-ground sprinkler system until the tow truck came. After assuring me they would take care of the damages to my lawn and sprinkler system, they also stated that they would complete the job free of charge for the inconvenience. Which of course sounds too good to be true, hence why I made sure to clarify with them MULTIPLE times.
Well, I was right. They then proceeded to call me back on Monday saying I owe them the rest of the moving fees…..the remaining balance didn’t even match what I was originally quoted!!! They refused to send anyone out to look at or fix my lawn until the balance was paid. The movers were friendly, but the managers and receptionist are exceptionally rude and arrogant, and frankly couldn’t seem to care less about the damages to my lawn, sprinkler, or any of the inconveniences I faced.
The whole situation is absolutely ridiculous. The nerve to get a moving truck stuck in MY front lawn and own MY sprinkler system, forcing us to wait over an hour for a tow truck which proceeded to tow the truck across my lawn, and then try to make ME pay is absolutely absurd! Then the nerve to get smart with me as if they weren’t the ones who screwed up is absolutely ridiculous. It’s such a shame the managers and receptionist are crooks, because the movers themselves were extremely friendly and apologetic about the lawn. Just thought I’d do a good deed and try to keep someone else from getting played!
