I wish I could give zero stars.
The lady who worked at the window in the pharmacy line tonight 3/9 should not have a job with customer service.
Horrible experience, don’t receive my finances meds he desperately needed.

I don't want to give this pharmacy a 1 star rating but there is no zero. I have been going around & around with them regarding transferring my prescriptions from CVS (the only reason being that the prices are cheaper). I am thinking I need to go back to CVS that had great customer service....even with paying more money!! I am disgusted by their terrible customer service & the horrible phone system.

They claim to offer passport photo services but their only cameras isn't charged or functional. Additionally, they let someone cut in front of us who had a problem and after 20 minutes waiting with two small children who needed their passport photos done we were told, "oh, sorry our camera doesn't work."
It would have been much better if they'd just told us instead of us having wait and try to keep two toddlers entertained for a service they're unprepared to offer.

Update: seem to be taking steps to improve. We all MUST REMEMBER IT IS NOT THE STAFFS FAULT…most the time lol, but they are trying. For now they get 1 more star, but I’m hoping things continue to improve. People get a 3.5-4, the company gets an ZERO if possible. They treat their employees terrible, they understaff, and it’s the companies policies that create the issues they have
By far the worse pharmacy I have ever been to. I am told it was really nice previously, but ever since all the Rite Aid stores closed and Walgreens absorbed the clientele, it’s been terrible. Their text notifications and app never match when they report about script refills or updates. EVERYTIME I have gone, I have only been able to get a fraction of the scripts I was told were ready. I have been given my father’s meds a couple times. They lost scripts that they claim are filled and then swear you received them when you didn’t. I have had several situations in which I have been forced to go days or even almost a week for meds I need daily! Nothing to be done about it?!
Just waiting 20-50 minutes just to find they only have less than half of the scripts ready they say they did, after first trying to give you other people’s meds…that’s nothing to play about. That’s not just a zero star scenario but also potentially a crime!
Don’t expect to reach anyone with a phone call either. I have waited on hold for over an hour before just to confirm a script was ready only to get there and be told it wasn’t.

Claimed they did not receive Rx requests from 2 of my providers. When they have received, either a partial fill, or takes 6 days to fill.
Former Rite Aid client - who never had any trouble with scripts before Walgreens.

Consistent with other reviews, this has been one of the worst pharmacies I have ever been to. Consistent long waits (to get to the counter and for your Rx) and disinterest from staff. Highly recommend going elsewhere.

Slow pharmacy due to understaffing and staff not fully trained.

Like others said--always out of your Rx! So they played this game where they give me a "partial" refill of my insulin pens and I pay my $35 co-pay, then the rest of the "partial" refill was ready--this time ONE pen!! and they wanted me to pay another $35! Just went to mail order thankfully got 87 days for $35--woohoo!! I was just on the phone bc my husband's Rx went to walgreens for his eye drops, and they don't have it (of course not) called Wal-Mart, they have it but refused to transfer for him (his Dr is closed) so I called to assist, waited on the phone 20 mins for someone to pickup and then hung-up on me! The Walgreens on MLK is MUCH better always in stock--this Saginaw+Waverly one is AWFUL!!

I despise this pharmacy. Every script has had an insurance issue. I have Medicare and this should never be the case. They should never go back to my provider and request refills when they never requested them to begin with.
I transferred all of my scripts and my boyfriend’s scripts to Your Pharmacy and the meds we need are ALWAYS in stock. Even generic adderall that’s always out of stock.
When Your Pharmacy called for the transfer, Walgreens pharmacy staff was talking garbage in the background, trying to cover the phone. Candy still heard them. When she asked how long the transfer would be, the reply was ‘cool beans’. They’re currently still trying to fill my scripts even though a transfer was put in place. Ridiculous and uncalled for. I hate these people and this pharmacy. Looks like I’ll have to call, wait on hold all day and get ‘cool beans’ as an answer also.
When I just got off the phone with Walgreens the pharmacy tech was rude to me. I kept telling her that I needed the scripts transferred to Your Parmacy on Waverly. She said you can’t transfer scripts to my pharmacy. She’s dumb. You’d think that pharmacy employees would know the names of the local pharmacies. Especially one right across the street. I haven’t worked in the pharmacy business in 5 years but I still know all the local businesses where I can get my medication. Just stupid on Walgreens part.

Pharmacy is a mess!! Will keep telling you to come back in a hour. Drove here 3 times and each time “it’ll be ready in a hour” 5 hours later still waiting for prescription. Transferring to someone else.

Hire more staff and pay them better. There is always a half hour wait for the pharmacy with one person working it...
The staff is amazing but management should feel bad. I'm changing my pharmacy.

What a nightmare. I'm one of the Rite Aid customers that was transferred to Walgreens. There is always a problem with every prescription. Medications are usually out of stock. I'll get a call indicating that a script is ready for pickup so I go there and it isn't and they say they have to order it and may take days to get it, huh? The list goes on and on. Today It took four staff members to not figure out my insurance, they eventually lost interest. I told them I was a Rite Aid customer, they already had all of my records and insurance info. and one guy yelled (really), at me saying I should have said so which is ironic since all of that info. was staring at him in the face on the computer screen. This transfer is worse than I envisioned. They are under staffed, no one knows what they are doing or who to ask for help. It is always hit or miss whether you can get your medication. There is no conception of customer service, they just don't care. Rite Aid was a great pharmacy, Walgreens is a nightmare.

The worst place to get medication!!!! Was told yesterday by 4 different people that medication would be ready that day and one person was the pharmacist, but by the end of the day they were not ready. Ask for another script to be filled and instead of filling the script they only put 5 pills in a bottle but did not inform that it was a parcel or why they didn’t fill the whole script! If you can!!! GO somewhere else for script, like we are planning to!!!
