Foundry Barbell Social is a small, friendly gym with a great community, widely considered the best in the Lapeer area. It is a non-commercial gym known for being extremely clean and very well-maintained. The owners and staff are friendly, accommodating, and responsive. The community and members are welcoming, kind, and focused on their workouts. The gym excels for those who lift free weights, featuring a great selection of primarily free-weight equipment. This includes tons of squat racks, barbells, a variety of free weights, separate lifting areas, multiple cable machines, and strongman gear. The equipment is all very nice, in good shape, and well taken care of. The facility is always top-notch clean, with easy entry and lockers available. Membership rates are fair and comparable to other gyms. Foundry Barbell Social is highly recommended for anyone looking to reach their fitness goals in a safe, secure, and supportive environment.

Great gym to be apart of, honestly the most convenient gym I’ve been to. Show up at any time and lift, holidays and weekends. Great staff, always a clean environment and great people to be around if you just want some new friends or someone to work out with.

Great small gym/ community. Don’t let the size fool you, they have everything you need and you dont have to wait for someone to finish up watching their YouTube video while tying up equipment to get your sets in.

I love this gym, people are awesome and theres just enough people to keep it fun and entertaining but not overly crowded like most mainstream gyms.
